Trying Out New Skincare Bits

Hi girls !
Lately I've been experimenting with skincare products again and have tested quite a few which I wanted to share my thoughts on, today with you. This is not my first impression but neither a final opinion. It's just how I feel about these products at the moment after testing them for a month or two.

Afrodita Cosmetics Clean Up Foam

This product is from their professional line. It's a lovely creamy foam which is very cleansing but doesn't feel drying on the skin. They say it's suitable for all skin types, however for really dry skin I'd still recommend something like a cleansing milk. The scent is absolutely pleasant and nice which reminds me of line Pearl Prestige. Though I'm not sure why it's a "professional" type of product.

Afrodita Cosmetics Clean Up Toner

And another product from Clean Up line is this toner, which contains hyaluronic acid. This ingredient is especially hydrating, so the product is suitable for all skin types. Also I've noticed that toner surprisingly contains only 7 ingredients and no alcohol, which is great. Plus the packaging has a handy spray.

Mirati night cream

At night I tend to really hydrate my skin so I use an actual nourishing night cream or anything which is quite hydrating but doesn't clog my pores. As a Mirati ambassador I've tried this cream with ghee butter. It has a nice thicker consistency however it's very easy to apply. On the skin it feels nourishing and hydrating but not too sticky. I feel that it really hydrates my skin. Also it contains shea butter which is known for a non-greasy texture and calming aloe vera. However there is something about the scent that I don't like. It's a bit citrusy but has a weird note to it which does bother me.

In the start of February I also attended an event where LRP presented their new Micellar Waters. I was very happy to attend it and got to try one for sensitive skin. There's also one for reactive skin and one for oily skin. The Sensitive one impressed me quite a lot. I only need one cotton pad, which I press on the eye and the wipe off all the eye makeup. It works great even with mascara and it's even easier to use on the face. Though of course it won't remove waterproof mascara.

L'Oreal Pure Clay Glow Mask (Detox mask)

And lastly here's a product which I bought because of all the hype amongst beauty bloggers and other beauty enthusiasts. Even though lately I've been using mostly Lush face masks, I was intrigued by this clay one. It's supposed to deep cleanse and leave a glowy skin. It's runny enough and easy to apply on the skin. Quite quickly it dries up and tightens the skin a bit. Meanwhile I can see the little dots where the pores are and the mask has pulled out some sebum. It's removed just with water and afterwards my face feels a lot cleaner. Of course it doesn't pull out the blackheads, however it's still very cleansing and doesn't really dry out my skin. In our country the packaging says: Glow Mask, though all over the internet it's supposed to be a Detox one.

  2. I've never heard of Afrodita before, but the Clean Up Toner sounds lovely (I love everything with a little bit of hyaluronic acid in it!). I also didn't know that LRP had some new micellar waters, I need to try them as LRP is one of my all time favourite skincare brands, it's a shame it doesn't remove waterproof mascara, though!

    1. Afrodita is Slovenian brand :) And I love everything with hyluronic acid as well haha. Yes LRP had them before, but these are called ULTRA Micellar Water, since they remove makeup very well. Unfortunately none of the micellar waters usually remove my waterproof mascara, however I don't wear it that often either :)
