Poletje je tukaj in pri The Body Shop so pripravili čudovito poletno kolekcijo. Lansirali so dva nova vonja: Zesty Lemon (kateri seveda diši po limoni) in Cool Cucumber (vonj kumarice). Kar je najbolj pomembno, je, da pri proizvodnji teh izdelkov uporabijo limone in kumarice, ki ne ustrezajo standardom prehrambene industrije, ter bi bile drugače zavržene. Na voljo je tudi čudovita Coconut Bronze kolekcijo z bronzerji in porjavitvenimi losjoni. Res super kolekcija za poletje. Pa poglejmo kaj sem testirala in kaj me je najbolj navdušilo...

Summer is here, even though it seems April weather caught us late. The Body Shop put together a beautiful summer collection which I got excited immediately when I saw the pictures. They launched two new scents: Zesty Lemon (of course smells like lemons) and Cool Cucumber (cucumber scent).  The Body Shop uses second choice cucumbers and lemons that wouldn't sell in supermarkets, so they're not thrown away. That's a really nice gesture. Also they launched Coconut Bronzer collection which consists of many bronzer and bronzing body lotions. It just call for a summer vacation. So let's see what I tested and I love the most...

Zesty Lemon Shower Gel

Tega vonja sem se najbolj razveselila, saj obožujem citrusne vonje. In ni me razočaral. V bistvu diši po limoninih bonbonih. Ni preveč kisel vonj, ampak je bolj vonj sladkane limone. Hkrati je zelo osvežilen. Gel za tuširanje ima lažjo teksturo, ki sicer ni nič posebnega. Mene pa je predvsem očaral vonj in se tako rada tuširam z njim. Sicer sama tuš gelov ne porabim tako hitro, ker se ne polivam z njimi ampak uporabim zadostno količino, katero lepo spenim. Tako, da zdržal še nekaj časa, potem pa bom verjetno kupila novega.

I got really excited about the lemon scented line because I really love citrusy scents all year around. And I wasn't disappointed. The lemon scent reminds me of some kind of lemon sweets because it has a bit of a sweet undertone while being a true lemon scent. Shower gel doesn't have any special texture: it's a standard gel. Though because of the scent I've been loving showering with it. I do have to say that I don't just pour myself with a shower gel, so I don't use them up like crazy. So I just use a normal amount and get it really foamy. I will definitely need to buy another bottle of this. 

Zesty Lemon Body Scrub

Piling za telo je zanimiv, ker ima teksturo kot kakšna marmelada. Je tak gel z malimi delci pilinga. Rekla bi, da je bolj nežen piling. Sama imam rada sicer bolj grobe pilinge, da imam občutek, da res odpravijo vso mrtvo kožo. Hkrati pa ga priporočam tistim, ki imate malce bolj občutljivo kožo ali ne marate grobih pilingov. Pa vendar čudovito diši po limonah in te res lepo osveži.

Body scrub has quite an interesting texture, which I haven't experienced before. It's like a jelly with small scrubby particles. I'd say that it's a gentle scrub. I do prefer more harsh scrubs, where I can feel like my dead skin had been removed. But if you like gentle scrubs and your skin is a bit more sensitive, then this one might be for you. Also it smells so lovely of lemons and it refreshes you.

Cool Cucumber Body Yogurt

Jogurti za telo so res super za poletje. Gre za gel, lahko teksturo, ki se takoj vpije in ne pusti mastnega občutka. Super je za nanos, ko prideš iz pod tuša in se potem hočeš obleči ter si brez skrbi, da bi se oblačila zalepila na tebe. Cool cucumber sicer ni moj najljubši vonj, ampak me ne moti. Res ima vonj po kumaricah. Diši tako zeleno, naravno. Ta jogurt se mi zdi tudi super za poletje, ker deluje malce hladilno.

Body yogurts are just perfect moisturisers for summer time. The gel-like texture sink in so quickly and doesn't leave any greasy residue. So it's perfect when you get out of the shower, dry off and need to put on clothes right away. Using this body yogurt, the clothes won't stick onto your skin. Cool Cucumber is not my favorite scent, but I don't mind it. It really does smell like cucumbers: so green and natural. I mostly like this product for the texture and it also feels cooling for summer time.

Cool Cucumber Hand Cream

Krema za roke je prav tako bolj lahkotna. Pravšnja za poletje. Poleti mi res ni všeč nič kar obteži kožo ali daje masten občutek. Tako ima ta krema teksturo gela. Vonj po kumaricah ni moj najljubši, vendar jo bom porabila. Te majhne kreme so super za v torbico.

Another light-weight product for summer. This hand cream has a gel texture which feels hydrating but very light, so you won't end up with sticky hands afterwards. I really don't like anything sticky or heavy for summer time. Again, the scent is not my favorite but I will use it up. I like these small hand creams which you can travel with. 

Coconut Bronze Glistening Glow Powder

Tudi tega izdelka sem se zelo razveselila. The Body Shop ima čudovite bronzerje, še posebej Honey Bronze. Ta izdelek je v bistvu razdeljen na polovico in sta v železni posodici bronzer ter osvetljevalec. Bronzer je čudovit, ni pretemen ali preveč oranžen za mojo svetlo polt. Daje tako lepo zagorelost. Ker pa je dodan osvetljevalec, vsakič uporabim tudi le tega. Ni najbolj bleščeč, vendar je lep bež odtenek ter daje naraven sijaj. Hkrati diši po kokosu kar me razveseli vsakič, ko ga nanesem na obraz. Če ne uporabljate radi osvetljevalcev, potem raje izberite drugo različico bronzerja, kateri ima samo ta izdelek v embalaži. Priložena je tudi gobica, ki pa mislim, da nima funkcije. Meni pa je ta duet super, ker se mi zdi tudi dober za potovanje saj se embalaža ne poškoduje tako hitro, ter imam tako 2 naj izdelka v enem.

Another product which very soon became my favorite. The Body Shop is known for their Honey Bronze collection, which I haven't tried yet. But I got excited trying this new bronzer. It comes in a tin pot which I think for travelling is quite good because it won't break and is sturdy. You also get a puff which I don't think it's functional (it's just soft and pretty). The product inside is divided in half, so you get a bronzer and highlighter in the same packaging. The bronzer is just gorgeous: not too matt and not too shimmery. Also the shade is not orangey and it fits my light complexion. It gives such a nice natural bronzey look. The highlighter is also gorgeous, as it's a perfect beige shade and not too shimmery. Though it's not blinding. What is even better, this product smells like coconuts which is so nice when you're applying it onto the face. I like that I get 2 products in the same packaging, however if you don't want this highlighter, they have other bronzers.
