It's time for festive posts. I get always excited about Christmas collections, because this is for a lot of brands, the most important time of the year and they usually put in a lot of effort, so the collections always look amazing. Plus everything looks so nice. If you're interested, you can find last year's post here. So in this year's collection, again they offer 3 scents: Winter Jasmine, Festive Berry and Warm Vanilla. In these scents you can find shower gel, body butter, body yoghurt, hand cream, bath bomb, soap, body scrub, body mist and a novelty: sugar lip scrub. This one I'll have to buy in a Festive Berry scent/flavour. Though some scents don't have some type of products. So let's see what I received and tested...

Winter Jasmine 

Gre za prvi praznični zimski cvetlični vonj znamke The Body Shop. Res je unikaten za zimski čas. Vonj je svež, oster ter cvetličen. Pri TBS pravijo, da diši po zimskem jutru z notami jasmina, vrtnic, bele breskve in pomarančnih cvetov. Nekako se note poklopijo in je res zimsko obarvan cvetličen von. Tudi meni ni slab vonj, ampak ni moja prva izbira. Če pa imate radi cvetlične vonje skozi celo leto, vam priporočam, da preizkusite to kolekcijo. Prejela pa sem jogurt za telo ter gel za prhanje v vonju Winter Jasmine. 

Jogurt za telo bom sicer shranila, saj imam zdaj že odprte 3, ker se mi ne ljubi mazati telesa vsak dan. Kot tip izdelka, ga pa priporočam tistim, ki ne marate lepljivih, preveč mastnih losjonov. Tako se ta balzam res hitro vpije v kožo ter se lahko takoj oblečete. Ker je tekstura res lahkotna, ti jogurti niso tako hranilni. So pa vredu za vsak dan in za nezahtevno (ne preveč suho) kožo. Trenutno bi raje izbrala kakšno maslo za telo.

First scent is Winter Jasmine, which is festive, refreshingly crisp and floral scent. Made with jasmine extract from India. I don't think TBS ever did such christmassy scent, so it's very unique for festive season. But somehow it totally fits in. I think it does smell like winter and is very hard to describe, however if you like more floral scents, this one might be for you. Though I wouldn't pick it myself. In this scent I got shower gel and body yogurt.

Shower gel has a very light, jelly texture which foams up well. The scent is more complex, but to me it smells wintery, like pine needles. It's very crisp, refreshing but also flowery. It's not a strong scent, but is nice. I would skip it myself, though. 

Then I have a body yogurt, which I didn't try, because I have 3 of those opened in different scents. I'm don't moisturize every day, so you could say I'm a bit lazy. But this is a very handy product for those who don't like greasy, sticky body lotions. It's like a gel/yogurt with a very light texture, so it immediately absorbs in. You can put on clothes right away. Though it might not be as hydrating for very dry skin. 

Festive Berry

Moj naj naj prazničen TBS vonj je že nekaj let vonj po jagodičevju. Lani ga žal ni bilo v kolekciji, vendar sem si naredila zalogo iz prejšnje zime (2018), ko se je ta kolekcija imenovala Berry Bon Bon. Vedno so seveda note po jagodičevju (maline, ribez, in podobno). Letos ima ta vonj note malin, pomaranče, brinovih jagod, ribeza in sandalovine. Vonj tako ni prekisel ali sladek, ampak ravno pravšnji. Malce me spomni na kuhano vino in res diši po praznikih.

Prejela sem gel za prhanje ter kremo za roke. Tuš gela sem se res razveselila, ker se res rada tuširam s tem vonjem. Zdi se mi, da je tako lepo poživljajoč ter me res spravi v boljšo voljo. Hkrati pa po tuširanju kopalnica tako dobro diši. Tekstura je sicer tekoča, gelasta, ampak se zelo dobro speni. Pod tušem se vonja tako bonbončkasto, po limonah in pomaranči. Hkrati se mi zdi, da vonjam poprovo meto ali nekaj tako zelo osvežilnega. Vonj se nekako na začetku res razlikuje od prejšnjih različic, a koža po tuširanju diši le po malinah in jagodičevju. 

Krema za roke ima lahko, gelasto teksturo, ki se hitro vpije v kožo. Za seboj pusti svilnat, mehak občutek. Takšne kreme zelo rada nosim s seboj v torbici, saj so super za hitro navlažitev. Na koži se vonj malce drugače razvije in diši predvsem po brusnici in pomaranči, s svežim "zelenim" pridihom. Mi je pa ljubše kako se razvije vonj pri tuš gelu. Sicer pa je kremica tako za hitro uporabo in ni primerna za najbolj izsušene roke. 

I love TBS berry festive scent they make almost each year. Though they didn't have it last year, but I had stocked up in previous (2018) winter, where the scent was called: Berry Bon Bon. Of course the scent is always based on berries (raspberries, black currant and such). This year the main note of Festive Berry is raspberries, cranberries, orange, juniper berries and sandalwood. It's a juicy, and a bit sweet scent, but well balanced. It reminds me a bit of mulled wine and it definitely smells like holidays.

Firstly I tried the shower gel. The scent is uplifting and it really brings you into the holiday, cheery mood. Also the whole bathroom smells nice afterwards. Texture is thinner, gel-like, but foams up well. Under the shower you can definitely smell the raspberry and orange. Also to me it smells a bit like mint, which is very refreshing. I definitely feels like the scent is quite different from the years before. Though after showering, the skin actually smells like raspberries, fruity but gentle.

Then also I tried the hand cream. The texture is quite light for such product, so it absorbs quickly. It leaves a silky, soft feeling behind. These type of creams I love carrying in my hand bag, because you don't get sticky hands and when in need, it is the right choice. The scent evolves on the hands. It smells like cranberry and refreshing "green" scent. I prefer the shower gel scent though. 

Warm Vanilla

Praznične kolekcije pa ni brez kakšnega sladkega vonja, saj se prazniki vrtijo okoli sladic, piškotov ter ostalih dobrot. Ta vonj vanilije je večna klasika in ostaja v kolekciji že od lani. Pri TBS pravijo, da je topla, sladka in omamna ter popolna za zimsko razvajanje. Res diši kot sveže pečeni piškoti. In tudi, če niste tak sladkosned (kot jaz) in niste ljubitelj preveč sladkih vonjev, vam bo ta vonj po moje vseeno všeč. Včasih pa se mi vseeno "zlušta" nekaj sladkega, toplega. Meni je ta vonj prijeten, saj ni preveč sladek in je popoln za praznike. Iz te linije sem testirala Body Butter (maslo za telo) ter kremo za roke. 

Krema za roke ima enako lahkotno teksturo kot Festive Berry vonj. Vendar je vonj vanilije močnejši. Je prijetno sladek, z malce cvetličnim pridihom. Po nanosu diši še kar nekaj časa, kar je meni všeč. Spet ni najbolj hranljiva krema za roke. So pa te kremice super tudi za manjša praznična darila. 

There cannot be Christmas collection without a sweet scent. Of course holidays remind us of cookies, sweets and every baked goodie which smells sweet. So Warm Vanilla scent is perfect picture of holidays. It's a classic vanilla and it's in the collection from the previous year. TBS says it's a warm, addictively sweet and festive scent. And yes, it smells like fresh baked cookies. It's not just a plain vanilla. Even if you don't like sweet scents that much (like me), you might enjoy this one. Might not be for every day, but here and there everybody loves a warming sweet scent.

I tested a body butter which is iconic to The Body Shop. It's a thicker, very nourishing texture, which melts into your skin. Because texture is richer, it doesn't absorb right away, so I mainly use it before going to bed or before putting on pyjamas. Though it still absorbs after a while. This body butter is made with vanilla extract from Madagascar, handcrafted Community Fair Trade shea butter from Ghana and Community Fair Trade sesame seed oil from Nicaragua. 

Hand cream has the same lovely vanillary scent. Though the texture is thinner, like with a Festive Berry one. But if you would compare these two, the Warm Vanilla hand cream has a much more potent scent. It's nicely sweet, with a bit floral undertone. And it definitely stays on the skin for a while.

Cream Scoop Neck Bodysuit - Keira

First I chose this cream, scoop neck bodysuit. I love wearing Bodysuits. I have so many already, but actually none in a lighter color. This one is in a ribbed material which is quite on trend right now. The scoop neckline is flattering, however it may be a bit low for some people. I ordered this bodysuit in a size 8 because I'm a bit taller (171cm) and some bodysuits can be too short and tight for me sometimes. This one is long enough on me, however it bunches up a bit at the back, so maybe I could get size 6.  However it's still wearable and very comfortable. Bodysuits for me are so effortless and handy because you don't have to worry about your top sliding out of your pants or skirt and it simply holds you in. Also I love wearing them with tights, because you can close it over them, so it holds them up and you don't need to constantly adjust your tights. You can find this cream bodysuit here.

Cargo Slim Fit Trouser - Sunny

To change my style a bit I decided to get Cargo Trousers. Of course in a black color. I should've ordered these in a size 6, instead I did 8 because I didn't want them to be too tight. Though they're very comfy. It's like a camo style. You can pair these trousers with just a t-shirt and make it a casual style. Or you can put a lacy bodysuit or a sheer top on, and it makes it look more chic. Trousers are made out of cotton (98%) but they still have a bit of stretch to them, so they're nicely comfy. Grey Cuffed Joggers - Lizzie

Of course I had to get another pair of Cuffed Joggers since Femme Luxe do so many of them. I got the size 6 and I think these run bigger because it's definitely a really oversized fit on me and I have lots of space in the stomach area but that can be adjusted with a string which is hidden inside - so clever. So if you want these joggers to be just the right fit, order a size down. They're simple but still look chic. Especially if you pair them with a bodysuit, throw over a chunky cardigan and put on white trainers. The material is thicker and very soft, so it's cozy and warm for this time. Check them out here.

Moroccanoil Blonde Perfecting Purple Shampoo

Moroccanoil vijoličen šampon ter vsi izdelki temeljijo na arganovem olju in imajo klasičen oreškast vonj. Diši slajše kar mi je všeč, vendar je lahko malce močan v nekaterih primerih. Deluje pa luksuzno in je kot salonska nega narejena za doma. Tekstura ni prav gosta, ampak tudi ne preveč tekoča. Odtenek pa je precej temno vijoličen. Šampon naneseš na mokre (z brisačo osušene) lase ter ga pustiš 3-5 minut in nato spereš. Jaz ga pustim vsaj še dlje, da dobro opravi svoj namen. Najbolj zbeljene konice dobijo malce lila odtenek, vendar ni preveč opazno in meni je to prav všeč. Ostal del las je lepo toniran, brez rumenih tonov. Lasje pa so po uporabi zelo mehki in nahranjeni zaradi vsebujočih olj. Za moj masten tip las, je morda malce preveč hranilen. Če pa so vaši lasje zelo suhi, vam bo ta šampon deloval kot dodaten tretma. Toniran učinek postopoma izgine po 2-3 pranjih. Priporočam uporabo rokavic pri nanašanju šampona. Hkrati si jaz nadenem kapo za tuširanje, ko čakam tistih par minut, da šampon opravi svoje.

Cena: okoli 24€ (200ml)

This one is of course based on their signature Moroccanoil products in which the main ingredient is argan oil. It has the same smell as all products. I love that nutty, sweet and luxurious scent. Though it may be a bit overwhelming sometimes. The texture is not very thick nor runny. The color is dark purple. You're supposed to leave it on wet (towel dry) hair for 3-5 minutes and then wash it off. I left it for 5 and it did quite a nice job. The very white ends of my hair turned a bit purple but nothing too obvious. The rest is nicely toned with a greyish tint. The yellow tones are eliminated. It doesn't dry out the hair, but it leaves them nicely soft. Though it may be a bit too moisturising for my oily hair. But if your hair is in need of lots of moisture, this one might be it for you. The toning overlay washes off withing 2-3 washes. I recommend using gloves while applying. Plus I always use a shower cap while waiting those few minutes.

Price is around 24€ (for 200ml) which I think is quite expensive.

Inebrya Ice Cream No-Yellow Shampoo

Sama sem ta šampon preizkusila po priporočilu in sem res bila presenečena. Je zelo temno vijoličen in dobro pigmentiran šampon. Tekstura je super, ne preveč tekoč. Postopek je enak. Na laseh ga pustim 5-10 minut (preko dam kapo za "tuširanje", da ne kaplja vse okoli) in ga sperem. Potrebno ga je dobro sprati, ker se drugače vijoličen odtenek pozna predvsem na lasišču. Drugače pa imajo lasje sivkast odtenek, brez rumenih tonov. Res ga priporočam, edino tiste, ki imate popolnoma svetlo blond barvane lase pazite, ker se hitro pozna na laseh in vijoličnega odtenka ne spereš enostavno dol. Tako, da priporočam manj kot 5 minut, če vaši lasje niso res rumeni. Uporabljam ga 1krat na teden. Mojih las ne izsuši, vendar ni prav vlažilen, zato ga prvo preizkusite. 

Priporočam vam oba šampona. Najbolj se vam seveda splača Inebrya šampon. Učinek na laseh je tudi boljši. Če pa so vaši lasje bolj suhi in imate kaj viška denarja ali se preprosto želite razvajati z luksuzno kozmetiko za lase, priporočam Moroccanoil šampon saj res neguje lase. Sicer pa imam sama za mastne lase rajši Inebrya šampon. Če vam je ta premočen, ga lahko morda razredčite z navadnim šamponom za lase.

Cena: okoli 10€ (za 300ml)

I firstly tried this one because of recommendation. I was not disappointed. The smell is not particularly nice but not offensive either. Texture is just right, not too runny. I recommend you wearing gloves because it is really pigmented, dark purple so you would otherwise need to really exfoliate your hands afterwards. I apply it onto my whole hair and leave it for 5-10 minutes and use a shower cap meanwhile. Then I wash it off lightly because I like how greyish and lilac my hair looks afterwards. Though if your hair is really white bleached or very blonde, I recommend you being careful for how long you leave it on, because it can really turn your hair purple. If you don't wash it off thoroughly, it can show purple on the scalp because the color is very strong. It is very toning, so my hair looks a bit darker grey afterwards and there are no signs of yellow tones. I use it only 1 time per week. There is also a light-blue version of it which I might be interested in trying out. It doesn't dry out my hair, however you might wanna try it first.

Price: around 10€ (for 300 ml)

Glede na nižjo ceno in boljši učinek me je prepričal Inebrya šampon. Hkrati pa mi je zelo všeč vonj Moroccanoil šampona in če imate bolj suh tip las, priporočam le tega saj je bolj negovalen. Mojemu mastnemu tipu las pa bolj ustreza Inebrya šampon. Če bi vam bil kateri izmed šamponov preveč pigmentiran, ga lahko morda zmešate s svojim običajnim šamponom.

All in all I think the price and toning wise, Inebrya purple shampoo is much better. Though some say it leaves their hair very dry. In that case I would recommend Moroccanoil shampoo because it's much better for really damaged and dry hair, since it contains argan oil which nourishes the hair. However if your hair is on the oily side, I recommend Inebrya one. If you want to, you can mix those shampoos with your regular shampoo, because they're quite rich in color.

La Roche-Posay Anthelios Anti-Shine SPF50+ Sun Cream

Še ena odlična krema za zaščito pred soncem. Ta je za obraz in ima matirajoč učinek. Skratka meni je super, ker ne obteži kože. Morem reči, da ni popolnoma mat, ampak je finiš naraven. Ampak je najmanj mastna krema z SPF kar sem jo preizkusila, zato se lepo obnese tudi pod ličili. Lepo se razmaže in ne pusti belih pack. 

Another great SPF which I've been using for a few seasons. It's for the face and has a mattifying effect. I love it because my skin is usually oily, so this one doesn't leave me greasy. It's not completely matt, but it's better than all of the face spf creams I've tried so far. It works great even under makeup. It spreads easily and doesn't leave any white residue.

Dm Sun Dance Sensitiv SPF 50

Dobra SPF zaščita pred soncem je moj must have, saj imam zelo belo polt in me takoj opeče. Ne rada se sončim, zato poskrbim za visoko zaščito.  To sončno kremo sem uporabljala že lani in letos sem jo skoraj porabila. Nanašala sem jo res vsakodnevno in mi zelo ustreza. Je za občutljivo kožo, kar se mi zdi super tudi, če koža ni občutljiva saj pomeni, da je izdelek bolj nežen. Ni preveč mastna, čeprav se ne vpije popolnoma takoj. Pa vendar mi je všeč občutek na koži in je res vodoodporna ter nudi dobro zaščito. Vonj je nežen. Prav tako so DM-ove sončne kreme bolj cenovno dostopne.

Every year I choose a good high SPF. It's my must have to have as high SPF as possible, because my skin is extra white and I get sunburned easily. I don't really sunbathe but even walking or being on the sun for a while can leave a mark. I started using this spf cream last year and this year it's almost finished. I used it every day and I really like it. It's for sensitive skin, which mine is usually not but you never know. I'd rather use something like this because it seems more gentle on the skin. It's not too greasy but it's not fast absorbing either. But it's not heavy and it easily spreads on the skin. I also love the spray form. It's very waterproof and it really does give a high protection. The scent is gentle. Plus it's more affordable.

Balea Water Spray - Green Tea & Jasmin

Ta sprej sem omenjala že v prejšnji objavi. Res je super za osvežitev v vročih dneh. Doma sem si skozi špricala noge in obraz, da bi se malce ohladila. Vonj je lepo nežen in nemoteč. Bi pa preizkusila še kakšen drug vonj. Imam tudi vonj po kokosu, a mi je malce močen. 

Another product I mentioned previously. I just realized how much I used it (it's almost empty). I sprayed it onto my legs and face so much during summer to stay cool at home. The scent is not heavy, so it's nice. I'd like to try any other scents (if available). Thought I've tried the coconut one and it's a bit heavy for me.

Lavozon Fresh Cactus After Sun Shower Gel

Ta tuš gel sem čisto slučajno vzela v Müller drogeriji. Običajno so mi zelo všeč tuš geli, ki so namenjeni za kožo po sončenju. Tudi ta se mi je takoj pribljubil. Vonj je nekako specifičen: je svež, zelen (težko ga je opisati - morda po kaktusu?). Gre pa za gelasto, gosto teksturo, ki malce hladi kožo. Meni je prijeten tudi za vsak dan. A ker rada menjam tuš gele, ga verjetno ne bom ponovno kupila (morda drugo leto). 

I bought this shower gel because I liked the packaging and I wanted something for after sun. I usually love after sun shower gels and I like this one as well. It has a specific fresh but greeny scent (maybe of cactus?) which is nice to me. The texture is quite thick and very gel-like. It is nicely refreshing and a bit cooling on the skin. I like using it for everyday as well. But because I love to switch around my shower gels a lot, I will probably not repurchase it soon.

Afrodita Cosmetics Sun Care Body Yogurt

Eden izmed najboljših izdelkov za nego kože po izpostavljanju na soncu. Lepo nežno diši po kokosu. Najbolj mi je pa všeč penasta, lahka tekstura (kot jogurt), ki se res zelo hitro vpije v kožo. Ima tudi malce hladilen učinek in je res zelo prijeten za opečeno kožo. Želim si le, da embalaža ne bi bila tako ogromna, ker mi je odveč jemati tako velik izdelek na dopust.

This is absolutely ma favorite after sun product. It has a nice gentle coconut scent. But mostly I love the fluffy lightweight (yogurt-like) texture. It sinks in right away. Also it has a cooling effect which is amazing on the sunburned skin. I just wish the packaging would be smaller or different because the shape doesn't make me wanna put it in a suitcase.
