Danes bom govorila o mojih najljubših višje cenovnih/luksuznih izdelkih za katere menim, da so vredni nakupa. Vključila sem tudi znamko MAC, za katero ne vem ali je bolj srednjega ranga, vendar se mi zdi, da njihovi izdelki niso tako zelo "dostopni". Seveda sam nisem preizkusila ogromno luksuznih izdelkov, vendar vem kateri so me res prepričali in katerih ne bi ponovno kupila. Tako, da bom omenila res tiste, ki izstopajo po kvaliteti. Res je, da teh izdelkov ne uporabljam vsakodnevno, saj imam kar nekaj drogerijskih favoritov, ki so vredu, ko ne nosim ličil ves dan ali za pomemben dogodek.

Today I'm going to write about my favorite high-end products which I think are worth buying. I don't know if you put MAC in the same category, but I do because it's not that affordable in Europe. From trying some high-end products not all have met my expectations, so let's just mention the ones I'd definitely repurchase if I had too much money ha ha. And to be honest I do tend to use these products on more special occasions and such because I'm fine with using drugstore makeup for everyday look.

Dior DiorSkin Forever foundation - 010

Dražjih tekočih pudrov pa imam res malo, saj jih je najbolje preizkusiti pred nakupom in sama sem tudi najbolj zadovoljna z Revlon Colorstay-jem. Dior Forever tekočo podlago pa sem kupila kar tako, ker se mi je zdela fajn, čeprav nisem prebrala ocen. Odtenek 010 ni tako svetel in je pozimi zame malce pretemen. Sicer so mi všeč res matirajoče podlage, Dior Forever pa obljublja sijaj ter matiranje hkrati. Zelo enostavno se zabriše, ne izsuši kože ter izgleda zelo naravno ter ne "pudrasto". Ravno ta izgled zdrave, lepe kože me je prepričal. Prav tako se občuti lahkotno. Sicer ni ta puder ni tako obstojen kot Revlonov, vendar je še vedno dovolj obstojen. Prekrivnost je srednja in izgleda precej naravno, čeprav prekrije nekatere nepravilnosti. Ima tudi zaščitni faktor 35.

I'm not likely to spend a lot of money on foundation, even though I own a few more expensive ones. However you do really need to test it out before buying. I bought this one just randomly and I didn't know it was quite popular. The shade 010 is not the lightest and I need to blend it nicely on the neck or I'm wearing it mostly towards summer time when my neck is not as white. I like mostly full matt foundations however this Dior one is luminous + matt at the same time. It blends very easily, doesn't dry out the skin and looks very natural. On me it is not as long lasting as Revlon Colorstay, however it is really good. It just does something to make my skin look so healthy and beautiful & not cakey. The coverage is medium and looks nicely natural but still covers some imperfections. Plus it has SPF 35.

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Setting Spray

Ta sprej mi je res spremenil rutino ličenja. Je najboljši sprej za fiksiranje ličil, ki sem ga preizkusila in si prav zasluži, da je tolikokrat omenjan v lepotnem svetu. Podaljša obstojnost ličil ter poskrbi, da ličila ne izgledajo tako "pudrasto". Razprši se zelo fino in na obrazu ni videti kapljic, prav tako ne daje mokrega videza in se hitro posuši. Je zelo lahkoten in ga na obrazu ne čutiš (v primerjavi z ostalimi spreji). Sicer ga ne uporabljam vsak dan, ampak samo, ko more moj makeup zdržati ves dan ter ob posebnih priložnostih. Je super rešitev v vročih dneh, saj obraz osveži (čeprav takrat ne nosim toliko ličil).

This is really a game changer in makeup routine. It's the best setting spray I've tried so far. It really does pro long the wear of makeup and makes it look more "natural". The spritz is really fine, so it doesn't leave my face wet and it dries quicker. Plus the texture is light-weight and you cannot feel it on the skin while some other sprays tend to do that. Yes, I don't use it every day, just when I need to make my makeup last all day long and on special occasions. Plus it feels refreshing in hot summer weather (even though at that time I don't wear much makeup).

YSL Touche Éclat Face Highlighter Pen - 1 Luminous Radiance

O tem izdelku se v lepotnem svetu kar precej govori, vendar je meni res všeč. Preizkusila sem tudi nekaj podobnih produktov, ki pa se niso obnesli. Ta korektor/osvetljevalec je res precej drag (30€), vendar je učinek res lep. Naneseš ga na željena mesta z aplikatorjem v obliki čopiča, pustiš minutko, da se malo posuši ter ga nato zabrišeš. Drugih korektorjev ne moreš pustiti, da se posušijo saj se vse vsede v linije. Tega pa ne smeš zabrisati takoj, saj potem kar izgine ter nima prekrivnosti. Korektor je zelo lahkoten ter izgleda lepo naravno. Odtenek 1 je rozkast/lososov ter pomaga nevtralizirati modre/vijolične tone podočnjakov. Lahko pa ga uporabiš tudi za osvetljevanje bilokje na obrazu. V zbirki imam tudi odtenek 2 Luminous Ivory, ki pa na meni izgleda kot običajen korektor, ter mi ne daje učinka osvetljevanja.

I know this product is very hyped up, however I do really like it. I've tried some dupes and they've not met my expectations. As expensive as this concealer/highlighter is, it may not be worth for some (it's around 30€), but I love the effortless effect. You just apply with the brush applicator on desired areas to highlight or perfect. I put it only under my eyes and let it dry for a minute and then just blend it out. With other concealers, you would end up with a mess if you let it dry, however this one needs a minute, and when it's blended afterwards it gives you an awake look with some coverage. If you blend it right away, it would wash away and disappear. It has a nice feel to it and is very light weight. The shade 1 has a bit pinky/salmon undertone, which helps neutralizing blue/violet shade of my under eye area. I also own the shade 2 Luminous Ivory which on me looks a bit like my usual concealer and is not as illuminating.

Lancôme Hypnôse Volume-à-porter Mascara

Sama sem vedno uporabljala maskare nekje "srednjega ranga", vendar predvsem od L'Oreala. Potem pa sem preizkusila tole od Lancôma in sem bila popolnoma navdušena. Hkrati pa je Lancôme pod okriljem L'Oreala. Ta maskara je bila zame popolna: plastična krtačka zelo dobro loči trepalnice ter jim podari ogromno volumna. Aplikacija je enostavna, sama maskara pa se v tubi ne posuši hitro. Z veseljem bi jo še kdaj kupila. Trenutno pa uporabljam Diorshow Pump'N'Volume maskaro, ki je tudi čudovita. Sicer sama nimam trmastih trepalnic, vendar, včasih, če želite res dober učinek je morda vredno razmisliti o nakupu dražje maskare. To prazno embalažo pa jaz hranim že dolgo za objave kot je tale. I've always bought the "middle" range ones, mostly from L'Oreal. And then I tried this one from Lancôme and was so surprised. Plus L'Oreal owns Lancôme. It was just a perfect mascara for me: a plastic brush which separates, plus the formula gave so much volume to my lashes. Applications was effortless, plus it didn't dry out fast. I never had any trouble with it and I would love to repurchase it again. Though at the moment I also love the new Diorshow Pump'N'Volume Mascara which is wonderful as well. My lashes are not stubborn, however sometimes it may be worth paying more for mascara, so you get a great effect. I'm keeping this empty tube just for posts like these. MAC Lipsticks

Izmed dražjih šmink so mi res všeč MAC-ove. Všeč mi je tekstura in obstojnost. Sama imam formuli: Amplified Creme in Satin ter sta mi obe odlični. MAC ponuja velik nabor odtenkov, ki pa so odlično pigmentirani. Prav tako sama nimam problemov z njihovimi šminkami, čeprav teksture niso vlažilne. Moja najljubša odtenka sta: Faux in Viva Glam II. Gre za čudovita nude odtenka, ki sta super za vsak dan in se lepo opazira na ustnicah.

I'd always spend a few more € to buy a Mac lipstick, just because I like the formula and on me they seem to be longlasting. I have formulas: Amplified Creme & Satin and I like both of them. They're not as high end, however for the price I think they're great. My favorite shades are: Faux and Viva Glam II. These are my go to nude shades as they're quite natural but definitely visible on the lips.

MAC - Studio Fix Fluid foundation & Pro Longwear Concealer

Na to oceno ste verjetno čakale kar nekaj časa. In čeprav lahko o MAC izdelkih na spletu preberete zelo veliko, sem jih želela pokazati na svoji koži ter sporočiti ali so vredni svoje cene. Ker gre za izdelke za oblikovanje osnovne podlage, je potrebno izbrati tudi pravilen odtenek. Tako je moj obraz proti rumenkastem telesu, precej roza. Kljub temu izberem podlago ali korektor z rumenim podtonom, da se sklada s telesom. Pri MAC izdelkih imam tako večjo izbiro, saj pokrivajo vse tone polti. In nič ni boljšega kot preizkušati nove tekoče pudre ter korektorje saj jih uporabljam v vsakodnevni rutini ter jih je najlažje dobro testirati. MAC izdelke uporabljajo tudi vizažisti. Tako cene niso nizke in tudi pričakujem večjo kvaliteto.

This has been a longtime coming review. I know you can read a lot about MAC products online in general, however I still wanted to share my opinion on whether these products are worth it and how they look on my porcelain skin. Though my face is quite pink, my body is quite yellow toned. That is why I choose yellow toned foundation or concealer. And lately I've been trying many different foundations and concealers because to be honest I need them in my daily routine and are so easy to test through. MAC products are not something I buy monthly because of the price, however when I do purchase something I want it to be high quality.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid foundation and Pro Longwear Concealer

Studio Fix Fluid foundation (NW13)

Seveda sem tekoči puder izbrala v enem izmed najsvetlejših odtenkov, da se kar dobro zlije z mojo poltjo. Sicer imajo na voljo še NW10, vendar je izgledal malce rozasto. Prodajalka pa je moj ton kože povezala z NW13, kateri se mi zdi kar super.

Obrazložitev odtenkov: NC = neutral cool (ne hladno - za zlato/toplo polt), NW= neutral warm (ne toplo - za hladne/roza polti). Njihove označbe te tako lahko zmedejo.

Pa vendar NW13 na meni izgledajo zelo nevtralno. Pa vendar ista označba ne bo pomenila enakega odtenka pri vseh tipih izdelka, zato ga je potrebno prej preizkusiti.

Pa gremo k teksturi. Ta je tekoča, vendar lahkotna in se enostavno zabriše. Prekrivnost je srednja do polna, tako da že 1 sam potisk na pumpico zagotavlja kar dobro prekrivnost. Vonj je sicer umeten (po barvi), vendar kar hitro izgine. Sam končen učinek je na pol matt (imam mastno kožo) in na vrh vedno dodam puder za zaključek. Sicer bi si želela da bi bil res matt, vendar bi na bolj mešani ali suhi koži izgledal popolnoma vredu. Na koncu dneva moj nos precej sije, ampak ne izgledam preveč mastno. Prav tako se ne stopi z obraza tako hitro. Je kar kvaliteten puder, vendar ima cenejši dvojnik: Revlon Colorstay, kateri je na moji koži malce bolj obstojen. Embalaža je steklena in kvalitetna, vendar je pumpico potrebno kupiti posebej (4€), kar je spet dodaten strošek, vendar jo lahko uporabljate še za druge pudre.

Rada bi preizkusila še Pro Longwear tekoči puder, saj mislim, da mi je prodajalka skušala pojasniti, da je še bolj obstojen ter primeren za moj masten tip kože. Morda drugič !

Cena: nekje 32€ (v Evropi)

I have second lightest shade and it kind of matches my porcelain skin tone. When I was choosing the shade, NW10 I think looked too pink and the sales girl showed/matched me to NW13, which was just perfect.

Let me explain their marks: NC = neutral cool (not cool - golden toned skin), NW= neutral warm (not warm - pink toned). Confusing right ? So that way I would need NC13, which doesn't exist (only NC15, which is too dark for me). The shade NW13 looks completely neutral on me and I don't think I look pink nor orange.

To me, it all depends on type of their products. You can also check online how the colors look and every foundation, because no matter the same number, the shades look different.

As it goes for the texture, it's smooth, quite liquid and really easy to blend. Coverage is medium to full, which means you need only one pump for a natural looking skin. The smell is kind of artificial (paint-like) but it disappears quickly. The finish is semi-matt and I always set it with powder afterwards. To me, it could be more matt, however on drier skin, it would look ok. Even though at the end of the day I look quite shiny/glowy (in a positive way), it doesn't wear off that much. It is a nice foundation, however if you don't like to spend so much money on it, a nice dupe is Revlon Colorstay, which is more long-lasting on my skin. Packaging is a glass bottle which feels really nice, however you do have to buy a pump separately (around 4€), which is kind of annoying, but you can use it for other foundations later as well.

Still I'm contemplating whether at that time I should've just bought Pro Longwear Foundation because I think the lady who was helping me, tried to tell me that it would last longer and be more mattifying. Maybe next time.

Pro Longwear Concealer (NC15)

In še izdelek, ki ga uporabljam dlje časa, je njihov famozni korektor. Ta je tudi v stekleni embalaži, vendar že s pumpico, ki priročna. Kljub temu imam z njo majhen problem, ker vsakič ven priteče preveč izdelka, ki ga morem potem razporediti po celem obrazu. Moti me pa zato, ker rada uporabljam različne korektorje za različne predele (pod očmi, okoli nosu ter na nepravilnostih).

Tekstura je malce gosta, vendar tako zagotavlja popolno prekrivnost ter potrebujete zelo majhno količino. Priporočam dobro zabrisovanje, da se izdelek ne usede v linije na obrazu. Na obrazu ostane skoraj ves dan, zato mi je res odličen.

Odtenek NC15 je najsvetlejši ter ima rumen podton, kar je meni super. Tako se ujema z Revlon Colorstay (150 Buff). Pri primerjavi z mojo MAC tekočo podlago, ki ima manjšo številko (13), pa je korektor vseeno svetlejši

Cena: nekje 22€ (v Evropi) za 9 ml

Korektor mi je res všeč, ker je prekrivnost odlična in tudi cena ni slaba za 9ml, saj potrebujete majhno količino ter vam ostane res za dolgo časa.

And now the product which I had for almost two years. It comes in a nicely made sleek glass bottle with a very handy pump on the top. However I have some trouble with the pump. It doesn't allow you to dose out as much product as you want, but instead it leaves you with big amount of concealer which most of the time I don't know where to put on my face, since I usually use different concealers on different areas. So basically I have to use it for under-eye area, around my nose and on any imperfections. Texture is a bit thick. It gives you full coverage, however sometimes it can look a bit cakey if it's not blended properly. And because of great pigmentation, you only need a small amount. Longevity is great, as it stays literally all day on the skin.

Shade NC15 is the lightest and yellow toned. It totally matches my Revlon Colorstay (150 Buff). Even though it's the number 15, which should be darker than foundation, is actually lighter.

You also get quite a nice amount of product: 9 ml, so it's totally worth the money.

All in all, I really like this concealer as it is so high-coverage. Sadly I broke it just after doing this review (karma eh?), however I'm for sure buying it again.
