Danes bom ocenila nekaj izdelkov za nego obraza, ki sem jih prejela od znamke The Body Shop. Morem priznati, da nisem preizkusila še veliko TBS izdelkov za nego obraza. Sicer pa mi je všeč njihova linija s čajevcem - Tea Tree. Zelo všeč mi je olje, katerega naneseš posebej na vsaj mozoljček, da ga posuši. Porabila pa sem tudi matirno kremo s čajevcem, katera mi je bila precej všeč. Prav tako sem preizkusila čistilni gel, kateri ima sicer spet močen vonj, vendar je super za dobro čiščenje kože. Danes pa bom govorila o drugih izdelkih...

Today I'll be reviewing a few skincare items I received from The Body Shop. To be honest so far I didn't try many skincare items from TBS, though I love their Tea Tree line because my skin is oily and sometimes troubled and tea tree really helps me. I love the oil which you can put on to separate pimples and it really dries them out, plus I had a mattifying cream which was quite nice and also the face wash is quite nice. But today I'll talk about other skincare items.

Seaweed Deep Cleansing Gel wash

Tole je zelo prijeten prozoren gel za umivanje obraza. Čeprav vsebuje SLS, se mi ne zdi, da bi se ta gel pretirano penil in je nežen do kože. Ima nežen vonj. Odstrani nečistoče ampak kože ne izsuši, čeprav je namenjen matiranju. Jaz ga uporabljam zvečer in zjutraj ter mi je zelo všeč. Sicer običajno za čistilni gel ne dam toliko denarja, vendar je res prijeten.

This is a really nice face wash. It's clear and has gel texture which is my favorite. They say it doesn't contain soap, however it contains SLS. Though I feel like it is very gentle and doesn't foam much even if you use bigger amount. It has a very light scent. It nicely cleansing, so it removes all the remaining makeup and impurities. I use it all the time, in the morning and before bed and I really do like. Though I usually wouldn't spend so much money on a face wash, but it's really nice. 

British Rose Petal-Soft Gel Toner

Ta tonik pa me je zelo presenetil saj ima gostejšo, gelasto teksturo. Tako je prijetno vlažilen in malce spominja na kak lahek serum. Vsebuje vrtnico za pomirjanje ter aloe vero. Vonj je nežen, po vrtnicah in ni moteč. Zdi se mi res zanimiv izdelek za vlaženje in ga z veseljem uporabljam.

You don't see many toners like this one. It has a gel texture, so it reminds me of a light serum. It is nicely hydrating and calming. It contains aloe vera and roses. The smell is gentle, of roses but not a weird "old" rose scent. I think it's quite an interesting product and I've been loving using it. 

Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask

Tole je glinena maska z ogljem. Ko sem jo odprla in nanesla sem takoj zavohala olje čajevca. Morem reči, da je vonj precej močen tudi ko jo naneseš na kožo. Na začetku malo zapeče (česar sem se ustrašila) in meni so se oči zarosile od močnega vonja, ampak po kakšni minutki ta občutek izgine. Na koži se po 10 minutah posuši in nato jo spereš z obraza. Spiranje zahteva malo packanja, vendar je končen učinek vreden tega. Ob spiranju se na koži naredi nežen piling, saj maska vsebuje majhne delce. Po uporabi je koža zelo mehka in sijoča. Maska prav tako vpije odvečne nečistoče, vendar se mi zdi, da mi ne izsuši kože ter me ne zateguje. Priporočam jo za bolj mastno kožo, ki ni občutljiva saj so sestavine precej močne. Se mi pa zdi super, da jo imaš za dolgo časa.

There's nothing more purifying than a charcoal clay mask. This one contains tea tree oil, bamboo charcoal and green tea. Of course the first thing I noticed, was a strong scent of tea tree. It's quite heavy and when you apply it onto the skin, it stings a bit and my eyes got watery. Though this sensation disappears in less than a minute. After ten minutes it dries down and then you remove it with water. It's a bit messy however the effect is great. Little particles scrub the skin and I was left with a really glowy, soft skin. Also it absorbs the oils, however without tightening the skin. I recommend it for oilier, not sensitive skin because the ingredients seem to be quite strong. I do like that you can use it multiple times.

Tea Tree Peel Off mask

Še en izdelek s čajevcem. Sicer je tale za enkratno uporabo in je DIY, kar pomeni, da sam zmešaš prah z malo vode. Nastane gosta tekstura, katero naneseš na obraz. Priporočam kar dobro, debelo plast. Je peel-off maska, torej, ko se posuši jo po 10 minutah odlepiš in z njo ni packanja. Ko se suši, nastane taka "žele" maska. Je prijetno hladilna in ne zateguje obraza. Nato se tudi sama počasi ob robovih malo odlepi ter jo samo s prsti odstraniš. Res se odlepi skoraj v celotnem kosu. Samo ob robovih je nekaj ostankov, ki pa se takoj sperejo z vodo. Moja koža je bila po uporabi precej mehka in sijoča. Je pa maska vseeno vpila odvečna olja. Na žalost je količina maske v posodici tolikšna, da bi jo lahko uporabila za dvakrat, vendar se hitro strdi v žele in jo moreš potem odvreči stran. Zato se mi tudi zdi embalaža tako potratna - vendar lahko polovico praška zmešaš v svojem kozarcu in ga potem umiješ in jo imaš za dvakrat. Sicer pa mi je zelo všeč, da z njo ni toliko packanja in ne boli, ko jo odstraniš.



Another tea tree product. This is a DIY one, so you have to mix the powder with some water to get the actual mask. You are left with a thicker texture which you apply right away onto the face. I recommend a thicker layer. It's a peel-off mask, so after 10 minutes when it dries, you just remove it with fingers and it's not messy. It's nicely cooling and doesn't tighten the skin. When it dries it slowly starts to peel on the edges, so you use fingers to remove it. It's like a thick jelly and it almost comes off in one piece without any pain. On the edges you might have some residue which is easily removed with water. Afterwards I was left with a smooth and soft skin. Also it absorbed the oils.
Though unfortunately the packaging is a bit of a miss. The plastic cup contains so much product, you could use it for two times, however it dries quickly. I figured out, you could pour half of the powder into you own glass and that way you can use it two times. All in all, I enjoyed it and I love how it's not messy and is pain free.

Čas je za najljubše izdelke. In sicer so to izdelki, ki sem jih najraje uporabljala avgusta ter septembra, ker tudi nisem preizkusila toliko novih izdelkov ter sem jim ostala zvesta.

Catrice Luminice Highlight & Bronze Glow Palette - 020 Feel Gold

I've been using this highlighter (the middle shade) on daily basis for two months now. It's just perfect champagne highlight that gives you a really nice glow. It's not too shimmery and glittery, plus it blends into the skin effortlessly. Currently this is my top recommendation for drugstore highlighter. Read more about it here.

Ta osvetljevalec uporabljam že dva meseca skoraj vsak dan. Zame je to popoln odtenek osvetljevalca, saj je v barvi "šampanjca" ter ni preveč zlat ali rumen. Je dobro pigmentiran in doda res lep sijaj brez, da bi bil preveč bleščeč. Tekstura pa je ravno pravšnja in se ne drobi preveč in se ob nanosu na kožo lepo zabriše. Essence Contouring Duo Palette - 10 Lighter Skin

Lately I haven't been testing much from Essence but this time I thought I'd see if there's something promising. Well this product certainly surprised me. The texture of the product is nice and smooth but with quite some fallout. However, the shades are really great - cool toned. The light shade might be too light for most of people, however on me it shows a bit and then I just mix it with darker shade to get the perfect contour.  Though the packaging is a bit cheap.

Zadnje čase redko preizkusim kaj od Essence ličil, pa vendar me je zanimalo, če je na voljo kaj zanimivega in uporabnega. Tako me je ta izdelek presenetil. Tekstura je gladka in se lepo nanaša, čeprav se v embalaži precej praši in drobi. Pa vendar, sta odtenka ravno pravšnja, bolj hladnega podtona. Svetel odtenek je za večino ljudi presvetel, vendar se na moji koži vseeno pozna. Potem pa ga še malce zmešam s temnejšim odtenkom, da je barva primerna zame. Sicer pa je embalaža bolj lahka, poceni.
