Hi girls.

It's time for another makeup empties. I just love finishing makeup products, even though I'm sad when some of my favorites are gone and I have to buy new ones. I'm very much wanting to minimise my collection, so I do give away a lot of makeup. I mainly used up everyday staples such as concealer, mascara and fixing spray. Oriflame Giordani Gold Incredible Length Mascara

This mascara was really nice. Even though it was lengthening, I also felt like it gave me really a lot of volume. The brush is standard with lots of bristles.

Repurchase: maybe

Rimmel Scandaleyes Reloaded Mascara

This one was also a quite nice volumizing mascara. However the brush was really big and it started to clump my lashes. It just didn't wow me and I prefer other drugstore mascaras.

Repurchase: no

L´Oréal Paris False Lash Wings Mascara

I love L'Oreal mascaras because they usually give me an amazing volume, however this one was not my favorite. I simply hate it because of the strange brush which is supposed to look like a butterfly wing. I can't seem to get it to work and then it just clumps my lashes. But the Intenza version of this mascara is absolutely gorgeous and gives me an amazing look.

Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme Mascara

This mascara was in my disappointing products post here. I don't know why I kept it in my drawer. It was an ok mascara, but for the price it just wasn't worth it. I haven't seen a brush like that before.

Repurchase: no

Estée Lauder Little Black Primer

I actually really liked this primer. It was black which is rare as primers are usually white. Though because of that it looked very natural on the lashes and if I wore it on it's own, it would give me just a natural look for a no makeup day but still it was volumizing and a bit lengthening. But at the same time it's just such an unnecessary product for me.

Real Techniques Miracle Mini Eraser Sponge

I love these sponges for blending my concealer. Sadly they have their use time, so this one is not useful anymore because it became stiff and hard to blend with. So I have to buy another set. I love these because they're small and you can really get into the corners of the eyes or around the nose.

Preden smo prešli v karanteno, sem prejela velikodušen paket Catrice in Essence novosti. S pomladjo so v drogerije dodali veliko novosti in nekaj sem jih imela priložnost preizkusiti. Iskreno, sem izdelke preizkušala tudi kar doma in je malce trajalo. Ampak končno sem skupaj spravila objavo...

Honestly, I received this generous Essence & Catrice package right before we got into quarantine. Of course being spring, there are so many new products in drugstores even with this Corona virus going on. I was excited about new products so I was testing them even at home. But it took a while to test them all and compile today's post...





Talisman (is actually ok), Power (so much fall out), Enchanted (also quite ok), Wicked (is dark in the pan, but performs badly when applied)

Odtenki paletke so v vijoličnih in roza ženstvenih tonih. Najbolj mi je v oko padel sredinski lila odtenek z veliko bleščicami, ampak me je najbolj razočaral. Pravzaprav se senčilo sploh ne da nanesti, saj je zelo trdo in na čopič ali prst ujamem samo nekaj bleščic. Poizkusila sem tudi z mokrim čopičem, ampak je res slaba senčka. Morala bi biti bolj mehka in kremasta, da bi se odtenek lepo prenesel na oči. Matt odtenki so vredu, ampak tudi niso najboljše pigmentirani. 

Na voljo je še podobna paleta: Minnie, katera pa ima bolj rdečkaste tone in izgleda res zanimivo. Žal me je pigmentacija te paletke malce razočarala. Sem preizkusila že kakšno res boljšo od Catrice.

I will just give you a short review of this palette because I was disappointed by it. When you first look at it, the shades look so pretty. However the glittery shades give no pigment and are really hard to use. You can only pick up a bit of glitter, no pigment and it's so hard to apply. They should have a more jelly consistency rather than dry. Matt shades are ok, but still the pigmentation is not great.
They have another palette in more burgundy and natural shades but I think it would disappoint me again. Catrice usually has nice, pigmented palettes but this one was quite bad.

Seveda nisem potrebovala še ene maskare in tudi preveč jih imam že odprtih. Pa vseeno sem prebrala, da se nekaterim dopade in sem jo še sama testirala. Gre za "tubing" maskaro, ki ovije vsako trepalnico posebej in se odstrani tudi samo z vodo, saj se potem preprosto odsvaljka dol. Ne zlepi trepalnic in ne povzroča grudic, tako, da gre za preprosto nanašanje brez packanja. Trepalnicam podari volumen in tudi dolžino. Sicer bi si želela, da bi bila še bolj volumenska, ker imam sama res rada videz tisočerih trepalnic. Res se ne razmaže (testirano tudi ob popoldanskem spancu) in ob solzah ali vodi se samo zdrobi dol. Raje imam, da me pod veko čaka kakšna pikica maskare, kot pa, da sem cela razpacana kot panda. Imam pa bolj mastne veke in se mi maskara kar hitro razpaca. Tako, da lahko za tole rečem, da me je presenetila. Res je dobra in jo priporočam, če imaš težave z obstojnostjo maskare.

This is a tubing mascara, so it wraps itself around the lashes. It lasts all day and can even withstand sweat and tears. Also it doesn't clump or crumble and can easily be removed with warm water. I really put it on the test and it's amazing. It doesn't smudge, it just crumbles off in such situations which I really like because when my eyelids become more oily, usually I would look like a panda (duh), but with this one I just see a dot of mascara here or there under my eyes. It's easy to just wipe it away and you still look fresh. I like the brush because separates lashes nicely and coats them individually. It gives you volume and length. Though I wish it would be even more volumizing because I love the look of "million" lashes. Still, I think it looks very nice on my lashes.  This mascara really surprised me and it's one of my favorite drugstore ones right now. I do recommend you trying it out, especially if you have trouble with longevity of mascaras.

Today's post will be a bit different. It's in a collaboration with Femme Luxe Finery who have kindly let me choose some pieces from their website to review them. First item is a white T-shirt. I love simple but chic cotton T-shirts like this. I wear them all the time. You can pair white T-shirt all year around, and also for summer it will make your tan stand out more. You can wear it with a skirt, jeans or even at home with some leggings or cycling shorts because it's a casual shirt. When I style it with jeans, I would tuck it in the top of my pants, but you can also tie it into a knot, so it's more of a cropped look and the shape looks a bit more structured. Otherwise it's quite an over sized shirt.The writing on it says: Oh La La which is quite cute. They have a bunch of other writings as well. I'm wearing size S (6/8). You can purchase it here.

This dress I thought wouldn't fit me because I got the size 10 (smaller sizes were out of stock) but I really liked the look of it, so I chose it anyway. I think it still works for me (usually I wear 6 or 8) and doesn't look too big. Because I'm a bit taller I wouldn't wear it as a dress but it is a nice shirt blouse. I think the shape is nice because in the middle section gives you nice shape to your body. At the same time it is quite a smart look. You could pair it with leather leggings or light jeans for spring/summer time. The fabric feels very well made. You can purchase it here.

And lastly we have this grey set it so on trend right now. Since we've been in quarantine, this is all I wanna wear at home. It's nice to have a nice looking set of lounge wear at home. This one doesn't look as boring and grubby. And those Joggers are especially comfortable. The strings are just decorative but the joggers are still very stretchy so it's true to the size (i got size S/M - 8/10). The material is a bit more artificial but it feels so soft and comfy.
