Today I'm going to share with you an interesting comparison. I was really excited when I found out that Catrice came out with actually quite a "dupe" for Clarins's Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. Immediately I knew I wanted to compare these two because I already owned the Clarins one :) Both products are kind of lip glosses in the tube. Catrice ones come in 3 shades (2 at the moment), while Clarins has a variety of 5 shades. They both come in a tube with a sponge-like applicator.

Kot sem že obljubila bom danes delila z vami primerjavo dveh izdelkov. Razveselila sem se, ko sem izvedela, da ima Catrice nov izdelek, ki je nekako "replika" Clarinsovega Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector glosa. Takoj sem ta 2 izdelka želela primerjat saj sem sama že imela Clarinsovega :) Oba izdelka sta kot nekakšna lip glosa v tubici. Catrice bo imel na voljo 3 odtenke (trenutno sta na voljo 2), medtem ko ima Clarins na voljo kar 5 različnih odtenkov. Oba izdelka sta v tubici z gobico za nanašanje na vrhu.

Danes na mojem blogu malce drugačna objava. Tokrat so me razveselili s pinceto La-Tweez. Že nekaj časa sem jim sledila na facebook profilu in seveda me je pač zanimalo zakaj je ta pinceta super. Poslali so mi Color verzijo v zelenkastem/limetastem odtenku :) Obstaja še več luštnih barv in pa tudi okrasitev s Swarovski kristali !

Today I'm going to do a bit different review. This time I was sent this tweezer from the brand La-Tweez. I've been following this brand for a while on their facebook so I was interested in how this product actually works. I was sent this Color version in green-lime shade :) There are more cute shades available and also the ones with Swarovski crystals !





Moje mnenje:
Ko sem vzela pinceto iz prikupne škatlice sem takoj vedela, da mi bo všeč saj je "konica" takšne oblike kot sem navajena (podobno sem že prej uporabljala) in zame najbolje deluje. Torej konec/začetek pincete je poševen in ozko oblikovan, tako lahko dlačice na obrveh dobro dosežeš in "stisneš" ter hitro izpuliš tudi po več naenkrat. Takšna pinceta zagotavlja večjo natančnost. Kaj je posebno pri teh La-Tweez pincetah, je posebna lučka, ki jo prižgeš s pritiskom na gumbek. Lučka je kar močna tako, da jaz zaprem oko nad katerim oblikujem obrv, sicer zna bit moteče. Sama embalaža torej valj v katerega shranimo pinceto, tudi vsebuje majhno ogledalo kar je še bolj priročno za potovanja.
Zadnje čase se ne posvečam toliko obrvem ampak vedno poskrbim, da vsaj populim odvečne. Priporočam pa, da obrvi ne samo pulite ampak jih tudi oblikujete s škarjicami.
Meni se pinceta zdi super saj je dobro oblikovana in res dobro opravi svoje delo. Sicer pa ni potrebno, da jo uporabljate samo za obrvi :)
Sicer ni najcenejša pinceta ampak, če enkrat investiraš v pinceto in jo lepo ohranjaš jo lahko imaš res za veliko let ! In pa tudi nisem še nikjer v drogerijah zasledila prav takšne z lučko. Prav tako vam trenutno ponujajo 15 % popusta do 10.8. do polnoči na ROZA RAZLIČICO (tako piše na fb profillu)

My opinion:
When I took out the tweezer from the lovely cardboard box I knew immediately I would love it because the tip is shaped how I like it and it works best for me. So the tip is skewed and narrow, so you can really reach every single hair on your eyebrow and squeeze the hair + quickly remove even more than one at the time. That type of tweezer really provides greater precision. What is special about these La-Tweez tweezer is that they have a special white light in it which you light up with a push of a small button. The light is quite strong so I usually close my eye upon which I'm shaping my eyebrow. The packaging is a cylinder with a mirrow in which you store tweezers, so that's even more practical for traveling. 
Although lately I haven't been really doing anything to my eyebrows, I still manage to always pluck out the few unnecessary hairs. However I would suggest you not to just pluck every annoying hair, but also to shape them with scissors.
I think this tweezer is really nice because it's nicely shaped and it does it's job great.
It's not the cheapest one, however if you invest in your tweezer and you store and care for it properly, it can be used for many years !

today I'm going to talk about a product, new to me & probably a lot of Slovenian readers. Recently I ordered this oh so famous EOS lip balm in flavour: Summer Fruit. I really wanted to see if it was worth all the hype all over the internet and blogs.
EOS lip balms come in variety of scents, but none of them have any color payoff.
Description: 95% organic, 100% natural and pareben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoby oil.

Danes bom govorila o meni novem izdelku, čeprav sem že res dolgo vedela zanj. Pred kratkim sem naročila tale "precenjen" EOS balzam za ustnice z okusom oziroma vonjem: Summer Fruit. Res sem želela videt, če je vreden omemb in pohval po internetu in na vseh blogih.
EOS balzam za ustnice obstaja v več vonjih ampak noben izmed njih nima barve.

Opinion:

I love the shape because my lips are bigger so I can cover them quickly in lip balm. What I don't like about this big "egg" shape is that it takes up quite a lot of space, so that's not practical because you can't bring it in your small "clutch" bag.
This lip balm leaves your lips with a soft feeling, however it doesn't moisturize your lips enough. Plus the texture is not greasy (I like greasy lip balms because I feel like they really moisturize my lips). I have a feeling I have to apply it over and over again.
The smell of this Summer Fruit one was appealing to me from the beginning. I really love the smell, it kind of smells like some Haribo bon bons - sweet and fruity, I'd eat that :D. Because we usually lick or "eat" lip balms or lipsticks off of our lips, this one doesn't contain gluten (which I know some people are allergic to).

All in all, I can say I don't regret trying out this lip balm, however it is totally overrated and I think it's not worth the money ! I'll just continue using my other lip balms which I know work for me and are moisturizing enough. Because I don't like wasting products or my money I'll finish up this one. I wish they would only change the formula or that any other company would come out with similiar shaped products (I know they already exist somewhere in America, but I haven't seen anything like it in Slovenia)

Oblika mi je super saj imam malo večje ustnice in s tem balzamom takoj pokrijem njihovo površino. Torej je dobro ergonomsko oblikovan. Edino kar ni fajn, da je tako velika tale "jajčka", da zavzame kar veliko prostora v torbici oziroma je praktično ne moreš vzet s seboj, če imaš mini "clutch" torbico.
Balzam pusti mehak občutek na ustnicah. Navlaži ustnice ampak ne dovolj. Prav tako tale izdelek ni tako masten na ustnicah kot so nekateri. Imam občutek, da ga morem nanašat na ustnice znova in znova.
Vonj oziroma okus, ki sem ga izbrala mi je takoj postal všeč. Spominja me na ene izmed Haribo bonbonov - torej vonj je sladek in saden, res za pojest :) Ker balzame oziroma šminke pogosto kar pojemo z ustnic, pa je ta brez glutena (kar je zanimivo, saj eni ne prenašajo glutena).

Torej lahko rečem, da mi ni žal, da sem sprobala tale balzam, pa vendar ga preveč hvalijo in menim, da ni vreden denarja. Bom kar ostala pri navadnih balzamih za ustnice oziroma pri tistih za katere vem, da super navlažijo ustnice. Ker pa ne rada mečem stvari stran bom ta EOS balzam pač porabila do konca. Želim si samo, da bi spremenili formulo ali pa, da bi se katero drugo podjetje spomnilo narediti podobno oblikovan balzam za ustnice (kar pa vem da že obstaja v Ameriki)

This month I finally decided to do monthly favorites. I'm not sure if I'm going to do these so frequently but I will try to always limit myself only to 5 products :)
In July I only went to the festival + I had a bit of time off at the sea, however besides that I haven't been doing much. I've been trying to get into using and trying a lot of products. I had to think which were truly my July favorites.

Ta mesec oziroma v juliju sem se končno odločila, da objavim najljubše izdelke meseca. Nisem prepričana, če bom to objavljala vsak mesec ampak se bom poskušala omejit samo na 5 izdelkov :)
V juliju sem šla samo na festival + nekaj časa sem preživela na morju, drugače pa nisem nič posebnega počela. Poskušam uporabit in sprobat čim več izdelkov. Kljub temu pa sem mogla malce razmislit kateri so res bili moji najljubši izdelki v mesecu juliju :P




Firstly we have: Nivea Sun Moisturizing After Sun Lotion. Few days that I've been in Split I got really burned on my chest and my back. Next thing I know, everything started to itch, so I really wanted to scratch myself all the time. This lotion helped a lot. It soothed my skin and moisturized it a lot without being greasy.


This month I've been also loving the nude lip look after I got this Makeup Revolution The One lipstick in a giveaway. I just love it ! There's something about the nude lip, which makes my lips look even better :) You can see it in action on my instagram.


Next product is the one most of the bloggers got this month and also been loving: Green Line HydroMineral Moisturizing Face Cream . It is really nice. I never liked face moisturizers because I felt liked they greased up my skin even more. This one is just really nice. I talked about it here.

Also I've been trying to make my skin looking more sunkissed so I used this old Essence Mineral Powder Blush (03 Bronzing Star - discontinued) to enhance that :) It is kind of a bronzer with shimmer. It leaves your skin with a browny-orange tone, looking dewy.



The last product is L'oreal Infallible Eyeshadow in Sahara Treasure. This eyeshadow is really easy to apply, but I mainly use my fingers because it transfers better onto your lid that way. Also my eyelids are a bit on more oily side & this one doesn't crease on me ! This particular shade is really pretty !



Torej prvi izdelek je: Nivea vlažilni losjon po sončenju. V tistih parih dneh v Splitu me je zelo opeklo sonce po prsih in pa hrbtu. Nato me je začelo res vse srbet in nisem si pomagala, da se ne bi vsaj malo popraskala. Tale losjon mi je zelo pomagal saj je umiril srbečico in dobro navlažil mojo kožo brez, da bi imela tisti masten občutek na njej.
Ta mesec mi je postal všeč "nude" videz ustnic po tem ko sem zadela/dobila tole Makeup Revolution šminko v odtenku The One. Res mi je všeč. Nekaj je pač na "nude" ustnicah kar mi je všeč in se mi zdi da moje ustnice tako še boljše izgledajo :) (sicer nisem priložila slike, sem pa osnutek pokazala na instagramu <-klik).
Naslednji izdelek je izdelek, ki ga je dobilo večina slovenskih blogerk; to je Green Line HydroMineral vlažilna krema - moja je za mešano do mastno kožo. Res je fajn. Prej nisem kaj preveč marala krem za obraz, ker se mi je zdelo, da mi preveč zmastijo kožo. Tale pa je super. O njej sem pisala že tukaj.
Poskušala sem tudi malce poudarit zagorelost oziroma jo priredit ter sem velikokrat uporabila Essence rdečilo (katerega ni več možno dobit). Nekako je bronzer z bleščicami ampak je definitivno bolj na strani rdečila. Ima rjavo-oranžen ton in tvoja lica naredi sijoča.
Zadnji izdelek pa je L'oreal Infallible senčilo za oči v odtenku Sahara Treasure. To senčilo je res enostavno za nanašat, čeprav ga jaz raje nanašam s prstom, ker se mi zdi, da se tako bolje prenese na veke. Moje veke so bolj na strani mastnega tipa, ampak se to senčilo ne zbere v gubicah ! Tale odtenek pa je res čudovit !

p.s. I've noticed that blogger makes all my pictures really grey, however I need to re-adjust my camera settings, so I'll make sure to post better pictures next time ;)

Again I've accumulated a bunch of beauty trash & I'm ready to share my thoughts with you ! Let me tell you that my mom is annoyed with me keeping that trash in my room - she just doesn't understand ! :D, so I have to keep telling her to not throw anything away, but I'm being a good blogger and I succeded to write another empties post. This time I included some samples too, because I want to throw them away :)
Here are my empty products:

Garnier Fructis Citrus Mint Fresh shampoo - I love this shampoo, it smells so fresh & citrusy + it does a great job with clearing all the "dirt" from my hair. I always go back to this one. They've somehow changed it a bit and the new one has some vitamins in it.
Repurchase: yes, already have (the new version)

Garnier Fructis Oily roots, Dry ends shampoo - I purchased this shampoo just because I couldn't find the one above. I used this shampoo back in elementary school and I still don't like it. It really does a good job with oily hair but i don't like the smell and texture.
Repurchase: nope (but mom bought me this one again, because she thought I like it :| )

Swiss O'par Frottee dry shampoo - I liked this dry shampoo because it smells fresh & I don't have problems with that white cast because I'm blonde (so yes it's quite white). However I found my new love: Batiste dry shampoo !
Repurchase: nope

Schwarzkopf Taft Power Hair Spray - This is my forever repurchased product. It has a great hold & it just works. Also I usually buy this on sale. For the girls who don't like the extra power & a bit of "hard to brush" hair, I wouldn't recommend this. However I usually spray this on and then quickly brush through so it looks nice & neat.
Repurchase: already have

Nivea Angel Star shower cream - I got this shower gel for free when I bought another Nivea shower gel, so I didn't think I'd like this one, however I really liked the scent - it smells like raspberries, but milky. I love Nivea shower gels because they're always so thick, milky and foamy.
Repurchase: maybe (have another one to use up as well)

I love...Mango & Papaya Exfoliating Shower smoothie/peeling - I really loved this body scrub. I love mango & papaya scents in every shower gel so this was perfect for me. I only wish it was cheaper :P It is a perfect scrub because the beads are not too small & not too big and you feel it working on your body.
Repurchase: yes (some time in the future)

I love...Mango & Papaya bubble bath & shower cream (100 ml version) - Again, love the smell ! However I think the body scrub has a stronger scent, don't know why. I enjoyed it, it foamed nicely and the smell is great but I didn't think it was anything special for that price.
Repurchase: nope (howevr I still have a big version)

Lush Dream Cream hand & body lotion (small version) - This is my holy grail until I find something better. I've talked about it already here, so have a look. It is just he only product that helps with my super dry skin on my legs. All in all, I just love this product :)
Repurchase: yes, ofcourse (after I finish all my body lotions)

Burt's Bees Coconut Foot Cream (sample size) - This foot cream is thick and kind of oily (it is clear yellow) and the smell is just ahh-mazingly coconuty. I've tried some foot creams before and none of them smelled so good + they were different consistency. This one is nice, but I don't think it moisturized my feet like a lot.
Repurchase: not sure

Afrodita Cosmetics Clean Phase Cleansing gel - I already talked a bit about this product here, however I have to say I really enjoyed it. I used it up quite quickly, because I used a bit more on me than usual - I just love washing my face :P. It really is a nice cleansing gel, it doesn't irritate your skin & it cleanses nicely. I also love the smell & color of the packaging, however the packaging always leaked a bit.
Repurchase: maybe (I really want to try some other cleansing gels too !)

Nivea Pure Effect Stay Clear Toner - I've talked about this toner here. I don't know why I didn't like it before but it is a really nice toner ! Also I liked the smell :)
Repurchase: maybe (I want to try some other ones too)

Essence PureSkin Purifying Nose Strips - These smelled awful + they got stuck a bit on my skin after peeling them off. I got mistaken and bought them thinking I used them before, but I was wrong.
Repurchase: no !

Schaebens Peel-off mask - oh my this smells so good - tropical. It is kind weird because it's a blue masque & it has shimmer in it. However I love it & it does it's job.
Repurchase: always

Duchesse Cosmetic Pads Sanddorn-Extrakt (super soft) - These were bought by my mom & she bought the wrong ones. These are thicker than the ones i usually use, however if you like that these would be perfect for you.
Repurchase: maybe

Afrodita Cosmetics Make it perfect ! Refreshing mask - I usually don't use masks that you actually just wash off, however this one was really refreshing, not greasy and all in all: it was nice.
Repurchase: maybe

Konad NailDressor Metal Nail Stickers - You've seen me wearing these here. I like the concept of metal stickers, however these didn't last that long on my nails.
Repurchase: already have, but I don't think I'll buy another pair

L'oreal Matt Morphose souffle foundation - I love this "foundation", especially in the summer because it was kind of a bit darker than my skin tone. It is mattifying and it just slides easily on your face, however I don't think it is that long lasting. They have repackaged this into Mat' Magique I think.
Repurchase: maybe the new version (I still have another one to finish up)

Essence Kiss Care Love lip balm 04 Caribbean Sunrise - I couldn't wait to finish that thing. I hated the shiny effect on my lips - I only bought it because it was peachy/orangey. It does moisturize your lips and gives them a bit of color, it just wasn't for me.
Repurchase: nope

Essence Studio Nails nail & culticle butter stick - I really liked this product, especially the smell ! It was great on the go, I just kind of "painted" my culticles with it and rubbed it in and it worked fine, however there was not a lot of product in this. Also it is discontinued.
Repurchase: yes, if it was still available (but I still have another one to finish up :3)

Blistex Classic Lip Protector - I did not like this lip balm. I love one of their lip balms, but this one was a no-no. It didn't moisturize my lips enough + the smell was just whatever.
Repurchase: nope

Oriflame Kiss Proof Lips liquid lipstick - I liked this lipstick because it lasted on my lips for a long time, however it was feeling drying. It just got spoiled + it's old so I need to throw it away
Repurchase: nope + they don't sell these anymore


Rexona Happy Anti-Perspirant - I liked the smell of this one & Rexona deodorants have become my favorite, especially in the summer because they really do work.
Repurchase: maybe

Rexona Clear Diamond Crystal Anti-Perspirant - I really liked this deodorant & it did a great job. Also I liked the smell. The only problem I have with Rexona spray deodorants is that they are so strong when you spray them - I almost choke on them.
Repurchase: already have

Rexona Clear Aqua Crystal Anti-Perspirant Deo Roll-on - it was a nice, fresh deodorant. I'm just not sure about the roll-on versions.
Repurchase: maybe


Melvita Pulpe de rose Plumping Radiance Serum & Plumping Radiance Cream - These smell like roses, so I hated them. The serum was a really nice consistency, the cream was just thicker than that but the smell is the same.
Purchase: hell no

Vichy Idealia BB cream - This BB cream has a nice dewy finish on your skin + it has a bit of coverage & it's suitable for girl with pale skin. I liked it at first but it is just not meant to be for girls with oily skin, because it cakes on you in just a while and you look like and oily mess.
Purchase: no

Vichy Normaderm Night Detox - I've seen some beauty bloggers raving about this product, so I had two samples and I've used them up, I got 7 uses out of them and I didn't think this product was anything special. I love Vichy products, but this one dissappointed me because I didn't wake up with less oily skin or whatever.
Purchase: no

IsaDora Gentle Eye Make-up Remover milk - This irritated & burned my eyes a bit, so I didn't like it. I just used it up to throw it away.
Purchase: nope

Dr.Hauschka Rose Nurturing Body Wash - As I've mentioned one time before, I don't like rose scents, so I didn't like this one. But it was a nice body wash, I just don't see anything special in it.
Purchase: nope

Decleor Hydra Floral 24hrs moisture activator rich cream - this face cream was really moisturizing and it had a nice suttle floral scent, however these creams are expensive and they don't do anything special to my skin
Purchase: nope
