Empties #26

Thursday, April 19, 2018

Hi girlies,
it's time again for an empties post. I totally forgot that I finished so many products and am so proud of myself. So if you love these kind of posts, keep on reading...

Batiste Dry Shampoo - Blonde
Another Batiste dry shampoo. This one is colored and suitable for blondes. Even though it looks quite yellow, it's great for my shade of hair. Because it's tinted it's not that visible when you put it on which can be great but also sometimes I struggle because I don't know where I put i already. It is great for when in a hurry and it does the job great. Also the scent is lovely.
Repurchase: always

Batiste Dry Shampoo - Cherry (mini)
And of course when travelling I also bring dry shampoo. However, the only mini version available in Müller drugstore is in the Cherry scent. I really dislike this scent because it's so sweet and artificial. Though the texture and effect is still the same as with any other Batiste shampoos, so I buy it anyways.
Repurchase: yes (because of travelling)

Schwarzkopf Gliss Kur Oil-Elixir
I've had this hair oil for ages. Because my hair gets greasy easily and I only get dry ends, it took me such a long time to use up. I did like it because it's nourishing and doesn't leave you greasy when applied on wet hair. Plus the smell was nice and not overpowering. It does the job and keep the hair looking nice.
Repurchase: maybe

Meze Solid Shampoo (for normalising the scalp)
I wrote a blog post about this shampoo - you can find it here. It worked ok on my greasy scalp and was very pleasant to use. However, I do prefer Lush solid shampoos because they foam up more and are a bit easier to use.
Repurchase: no

Mirati face wash
One of my favorite skincare products from 2016. This face wash is gentle but refreshing with a lemon scent. It cleans the skin very well while not drying it up at all. Plus it's mostly natural. Review here.
Repurchase: probably

Carita Paris Bi-Phase Eye Make-Up Remover
This was a two-phase makeup remover which meant that you have to shake it up well before use to mix two phases. It could get very oily, however this meant that it would remove any long wearing makeup. I did appreciate how well it removed my eye makeup.
Repurchase: maybe

Caudalie Beauty Elixir
This is one of the most hyped-up products. I've reviewed it here. It is just a really lovely toner/beauty water. Nicely refreshing and great to spray on top of your makeup to eliminate a powdery look. I was lucky enough to have been given another full size, so I will keep on using it.
Repurchase: yes

Bobbi Brown Soothing Cleansing Oil
A product from Bobbi Brown that just did not work for me. Firstly, I don't really use cleansing oils on daily basis so this one was a first for me. You use it the same as any cleansing oil. Even though it works on the skin, it doesn't do anything on the eyes - it just smudges everything around and if you get it in the eye and it's not pleasant at all. I just don't feel like it's worth it. I did also try Caudalie cleansing oil which I much more prefer.
Repurchase: no

Lierac Micellar Water
This one was nice. Took my makeup off efficiently and didn't sting my eyes too much. It was just a really nice micellar water. I still have a few of these samples to use up.
Purchase: maybe

Intimea Green Apple Intimate Wash
I like trying new intimate washes. And I bought this one because it looked nice. First thing I noticed is that it smells so nice like green apples - I don't know if the scent is artificial but it makes you feel nice. All in all it was a nice intimate wash but with a twist of a scent. Plus this product is made by Afrodita Cosmetics, for Intimea, so it is made in Slovenia which is always lovely.
Repurchase: maybe

Labello - Labellino Fresh Mint
I wrote a bit about Labellino's and even though this minty one wasn't my favorite scent, I finished it up quickly because I used it each time before doing my makeup. It has a light weight texture but still has some nourishing properties. Plus it's fun to use.
Repurchase: probably not this scent

Labello Classic lip balm
Classic Labello is my all time favorite lip balm. It is just moisturising enough for me and I'm used to it. This one was in a sparkly packaging which looks so cute.
Repurchase: always

Balea Vanilla & Cocos body wash
I got this mini body wash in a Balea Advent Calendar. I'm not a fan of sweet scents that's why I didn't love this one as much. Though I appreciated the milky texture.
Repurchase: no

Garnier Mineral Invisible anti-transpirant
I'm switching between Rexona and Garnier quite a lot because sometime I get too used to Rexona. I always liked these Garnier sprays. They work nicely and keep me stinky free.
Repurchase: probably

Rexona Anti-perspirant - Invisible Aqua
This one is always nice. It does the job and keep you "stinky-free" for a looong time ! Also it doesn't leave yellow marks. It's still a bit white though and sometimes I choke on how powerful the scent and mist is.
Repurchase: yes

Duchesse Cosmetic Cotton Pads
Because I use up cotton pads so often I like buying cheap ones. These are not the best because they're a bit thinner, but they totally work and I love them !
Repurchase: yes (always)

Duchesse Cosmetic Cotton Pads (Sand-Dorn Extract)
I did really enjoy these cotton pads as they were a bit thicker, so they were easier to use. Though I still buy the cheapest ones from Duchesse.
Repurchase: maybe

Duchesse Intimate Wipes
I really like these. They are wet enough and nicely calming. I use them mostly during that "time of the month"
Repurchase: yes

Garnier SkinActive HydraBomb Sheet Mask
So many girls have been raving about these Garnier face masks. Though I've heard some of them had problem with burning sensation and such. I did like how hydrating this sheet mask was, even though there was so much extra product on it. Though I've noticed some small bumps and texture on my skin afterwards. I'm not sure if it's from this mask or not - I would have to try it again.
Repurchase: maybe

Balea PflegeCreme
This was just a plain cream for many uses. The smell was neutral and it nourished the skin a bit but wasn't anything special.
Repurchase: no

L'Occitane Almond Hand Cream
Many girls rave about L'Occitane hand creams, however I just do not get along with them. I've tried the Shea Butter one? and now the Almond one which has a bit thinner texture but doesn't work at all. It just leaves a layer on the skin which is not sticky, but washes off easily. Plus if I use it before sleep, my hands are not hydrated at all in the morning.
Repurchase: no
