L'oreal Brow Artist Sculpt - 01 Blonde

This brow product firstly has a weird shape to it, so it's very hard to brush your eyebrows with. And secondly the product has a weird colour to it which is somehow very yellow and not ashy at all. It is just not a great find and I recommend you Golden Rose Brow mascara overall.

Ta maskara za obrvi me je razočarala po celi črti. Najprej, ima zelo čudno obliko krtačke, ki je tako debela, da si ne moreš natančno počesati obrvi ter ima na koncu še konico s katero bi lahko zarisal obrvi, ampak je vse skupaj zelo nerodno. Hkrati pa ima ta odtenek zelo čudno barvo, saj je nekako rumeno obarvan ter sploh ni sivkast oz "pepelnato blond", kar sama iščem v takšnih izdelkih. Najbolj vam priporočam Golden Rose Brow maskaro, ker je popolna za takšen tip izdelka.

The Body Shop Matte Clay Foundation - 010 Peruvian Lily

This was my first time trying TBS foundations. The shade is actually perfect for me: it's so pale and yellow toned, so it suits me. And the finish is nice natural matt. However on me, it doesn't have much lasting power, so it's starts to separate and transfer quite quickly. So I could get a two hours wear out of it when just going to lunch or something. I am very sad that it didn't work out for me, because I love the shade.

Tole je moj prvi tekoči puder znamke TBS. Kupila sem ga, ker je odtenek popoln za mojo polt: je zelo svetel ter ima rumen podton, kar se zelo lepo zlije z mojo kožo. In tudi končen izgled je lepo naraven matt. Sicer pa žal na meni res ni obstojen. Kar hitro zbledi ter se loči na predelih. Tako, da ga lahko nosim samo kako urco ali dve, če grem na pijačo/kosilo. Zelo mi je žal, da mi ne ustreza saj mi je odtenek res zelo všeč.

Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara - mini

I am not disappointed with many mascaras but this one just left me "meh". And I seem to have a mascara in each one of this kind of posts because I store them away to mention. The brush is quite big with standard bristles which I love. But then the formula didn't wow me. It is on a drier side, so you have to brush the eyelashes many many times. Firstly it adds some length and then a bit of volume. But even if I apply it many times, it won't give me the wow effect. I am used to nice, volumizing and thickening mascaras and this one just doesn't meet my expectations. The final look is just too natural. But if you like going for a natural effect, it might be for you. Also if you have oily eye area, make sure to set it very well because it transfers under the eyes.

Bi rekla, da nad maskarami nisem dostikrat razočarana, vendar se v vsaki takšni objavi znajde ena, saj jih pridno hranim za omembo med izdelki, ki so me razočarali. Torej, krtačka na tej maskari je kar običajna s ščetinami, ki so prijetne na trepalnicah. Tekstura pa je precej suha in me ni navdušila. Četudi jo naneseš kar nekajkrat, končen učinek ni wow. Sama imam rada res goste in malce daljše trepalnice. Tale maskara pa na trepalnicah pusti nekaj barve, jih lepo podaljša, vendar sploh ni volumenska. Ker pa imam bolj mastne veke, se ta maskara rada odtisne pod očmi, kar mi prav tako ni všeč. Učinek je precej naraven, tako da če vam je to sicer všeč, bi vam morda maskara ustrezala.

Lush Pumice Power

This is the first Lush product that disappointed me. I am such a fan of Lush and this product was recommended by someone, so I had to try it. It's supposed to be a scrub and soap for your feet. It smells a bit fresh and will probably get rid of any uncomfortable smells. It is quite a gentle scrub and on the touch it feels like fine sand. This is the first thing I don't like because it doesn't feel very scrubby and will leave a sandy feeling on the bottom of the shower. I feel like it softens the feet just a bit but doesn't get rid of any dead skin to be honest. It lasts for ages if you keep it out of water and it's very cheap. Sadly for me it doesn't work but some love it.

Tole je verjetno prvi Lush-ev izdelek, ki me je razočaral. Res sem preizkusila veliko njihovih izdelkov in tale je bil precej priporočen. Gre za piling za stopala oz. milo. Ima prijeten svež vonj kateri naj bi odstranil neprijetne vonjave. Sicer pa je precej nežen piling, ki se občuti kot pesek (tudi na dnu tuša). Na koži je precej nežen, kar že takoj pomeni, da stopal ne bo kar veliko zdrgnil. Malce zmehča stopala, sicer pa ne odstrani trde kože. Je poceni izdelek, katerega porabiš res malo, če ga po uporabi ne izpostavljaš vodi. Sicer pa ni nič kaj posebnega, ker se mi zdi, da z njim stopala drgnem "v prazno".

Gillette Venus Razors

Well beauty is not only skincare and makeup for me. So I have to touch on the subject about shaving as well. Ever since I've discovered the all mighty Venus Breeze razors, I cannot use anything else. But sometimes I venture into trying something else, as a beauty junkie I am. I've tried the men's Gilette version but was not that wowed by them (they were still nice). And then I tried these standard Venus ones for women and was just so disappointed. They only have three razors but they just don't give you that close shave. If you want a very close shave you have to pull and tighten the skin, however that can result into getting cut a bit. I just want my razor to give me a very close shave which Venus Breeze does. Those razors look just like this one but with some added soap, however they just work very differently. 

Lepota pa niso samo teme o lepih izdelkih, ampak se morem kdaj tudi dotakniti teme o britju. Odkar sem v najstništvu odkrila opevane Venus Breeze britvice, od njih ne odstopam in jih venomer kupujem ter uporabljam. Tu in tam pa še vedno zaradi firbca preizkusim kaj drugega. Preizkusila sem moške Gilette britvice, ki me niso ravno navdušile, čeprav so precej dobre. In potem sem enkrat kupila paket nekaj škatlic teh klasičnih britvic. Takoj sem bila razočarana. Čeprav imajo tri rezila, kakor Venus Breeze, ta ne delujejo niti približno tako dobro. Sama imam rada, da britvica pobrije dlačice čim bolj blizu kože (še posebej pod pazduho ter na intimnih predelih) in ta klasična britvica pusti kakšen milimeter ali dva dlačice, četudi uporabiš novo. Je kakor bi se brila s staro britvico. Lahko poskušaš kožo napet, kar se včasih pozna pri tem, da se vrežeš, pa še to ne bo pomagalo. Ne vem kako Venus Breeze na pogled izgledajo enako kot te, ampak imajo samo dodatno milo, vendar delujejo popolnoma drugače. Te pač niso vredne cene in sem zelo razočarana, ker sploh ne vem kaj naj z njimi.

I'm back from vacation and am motivated to get back into blogging. I love beauty and I just need to start talking more about the things I really love. Summer months for me are not much about experimenting with my makeup and I wear less of it, so I don't want to repeat myself all the time about what I wear on my face. I found that I am using a lot of my yearly favorites, which you can find here. But for now, let's see what I discovered previous month and there are also some products that I gladly took with me on vacations.

Sedaj, ko sem nazaj iz poletnega oddiha, sem motivirana, da spet bolj redno pišem na blogu, saj rada delim lepotne izdelke nad katerimi sem navdušena. Hkrati pa poleti nisem nosila kaj veliko makeupa, ker je bilo res zelo vroče in zato nisem eksperimentirala z njim. Moja trenutno najljubša ličila pa lahko najdete v objavi tukaj. V tej objavi pa vam bom opisala nekaj izdelkov, ki so me navdušili v prejšnjem mesecu in sem jih z veseljem vzela tudi s seboj na potovanje.

Clinique Moisture Surge
This product is so hyped up but I never really had a chance to try it until I received this small sample. I took it with me on vacation and have loved it. It has a true gel texture which I never tried before. You can use quite a big amount of it, but it won't feel sticky or greasy. It sinks in quite quickly and skin feels hydrated right away. It's just a bit different from other moisturizers and I like it a lot. Though I will probably save it for later because I need to use up some other moisturizers.

Ta krema za obraz je kar opevana v lepotnem svetu. Sem si jo želela kar nekaj časa preizkusiti in nato sem končno dobila en manjši vzorec. Vzela sem jo na morje in me je kar očarala. Ima teksturo gela, kar je precej drugače za kremo za obraz. Lahko jo naneseš kar veliko, ampak ne pusti lepljivega ali mastnega občutka. V kožo se kar hitro vpije in takoj pusti občutek vlaženja. Nekako je drugačna od drugih krem in mi je res všeč. Sicer pa bom ta vzorec shranila še za kasneje saj morem najprej porabiti ostale kreme za obraz.

Essie - Blanc

This is my favorite white nailpolish. I actually like to use it on my feet in the summer, because I'm just too lazy to put it on my hands. It lasts such a long time and it is a perfect formula. It has a nice brush which is not to thick and the formula is so opaque and not gloopy. I use two coats and my toe nails are then looking perfect. Plus, white on the toes makes you look more tanned and is a bit of a refreshment.

Tole je moj najljubši bel lak za nohte. Sicer sem za mazanje nohtov na rokah zelo lena, pa si poleti vedno mažem nohte na nogah. In skoraj vedno imam na nohtih ta lak. Res ima fajno formulo, ker ni tako gost ampak je lepo prekriven. Sama nanesem dva sloja in nanos izgleda popoln. Bel lak za nohte pa daje videz malce bolj zagorele kože in deluje tako sveže.

Catrice Prime and Fine Poreless Blur Primer

This is your standard silicon based primer for blurring the skin. Though I think the texture is lighter that most similar primers. It blurs the skin and mattifies a bit. Foundation glides on easily and there is no difference in application. I think it's a nice primer, though nothing special.

Ta primer oziroma podlaga za ličila je precej standardna saj ima silikonski občutek ter zmanjša videz por. Hkrati pa se mi zdi, da je tekstura vseeno lažja ter se lepše razporedi po koži. Zamegli ter malo matira obraz, tekoča podlaga pa nato lepše zdrsne po koži vendar se nanaša enako lepo. Primer je sicer vredu, vendar se mi ne zdi tako poseben in ga v svoji rutini ne pogrešam. 

Catrice Light Correcting Serum Primer - 030 Morning glow

This primer has a cool toned pink color to it and can be used alone or under makeup. Though I figured I prefer to use it over makeup as an actual liquid highlighter. The color isn't my favorite since this summer I'm all about those gold highlighters that look like your skin but shinier. But I'm sure I will use it more in the upcoming fall and winter time. This one is very cool toned and shiny but blends into the skin very quickly. It doesn't look shimmery or cakey which is great. It comes with a pump, so it's very handy to use.

 Še en "primer", ki pa je malce bolj zanimiv. Je namenjen osvetljevanju kože ter ji podari svež videz. Ta izdelek je sicer že na voljo v drugih odtenkih, ta pa je nov. Je hladne roza barve in se lahko uporabi pod ali nad ličili. Sicer ga pa jaz najraje uporabim nad ličili kot osvetljevalec na licih. Všeč mi je tekoča tekstura, ki se enostavno porazdeli po koži. Sicer ima kar nekaj bleščic ampak na licih to ni tako opazno. Ima tudi priročno pumpico. Ga bom pa verjetno kupila še v kakšnem drugem odtenku.

Catrice Eyeshadow Stix - 010 Satinfaction

This eyeshadow stick is in a triangular shape for a precise & fast application. The shape in my opinion doesn't really make the difference, as a round one would be just perfect as well. It has a nice light texture and glides on easily while you can blend it in very quickly. I recommend these kind of products when you are in a hurry because they're just so simple to use. Shade 010 Satinfaction is a champagne shimmery shade which looks very nice, though I would prefer if it would be even shimmery or more pigmented. I might check out other shades.

Ta barvica za oči ima trikotno obliko za lažje in hitrejše nanašanje. Super je, da se enostavno vrti, vendar ne vidim razlike v tem, če bi bil ta stik v okrogli obliki. Sicer pa mi je všeč tekstura, ker se lepo zabriše ter je nanos res hiter. Super je, če se vam zjutraj res mudi v službo. Odtenek 010 Satinfaction je bež, svetleč odtenek, ki izgleda zelo lepo, vendar bi si sama želela še več sijaja. Morda pa si omislim še kakšen odtenek.

Essence Camouflage+ Healthy Glow Concealer - 10 light ivory

I haven't tried any of Essence concealers in probably a few years. This new one comes in a healthy glow or a matt version. I thought this one would be too hydrating or anything, however it has just a perfect texture. It's a bit thicker and dries down very quickly, so you have to work with it quickly. It has some light reflecting pigments in it, so it makes your under eye area a bit more healthy looking, though it's not that noticeable. Plus it's supposed to be waterproof. Well, I like that it's quite pigmented and covers easily, though the texture could be a bit less drying.

Ne spomnim se kdaj sem nazadnje preizkušala kakšen Essence korektor, tako da je to zame čist nov teritorij. Tale je v različicah: Healthy Glow ali Matt. Sicer imam sama vse najraje kar matt, vendar sem se lotila preizkušanja Healthy Glow različice. Tekstura je malce gostejša in se precej hitro posuši, tako da ga moreš hitro zabrisati. Vsebuje delce, ki naj bi osvetlili področje pod očmi ter dali zdrav videz, vendar sama tega opazim. Prav tako sem ugotovila, da sploh ni vlažilen in je precej matt. Hkrati pa naj bi bil vodoodporen. Pigmentacija je kar odlična in res lepo prekrije podočnjake, sicer pa ni "full-coverage". Tekstura bi pa lahko bila manj suha.

Essence Insta-Care Lipstick - 02 daily maybe

I thought this lipstick would be just a sheer lip balm but I was wrong. It is highly pigmented and feels quite moisturizing on the lips, due to containing shea buttter. It leaves your lips a bit shiny and it smells vey nice and fresh. It comes in a nice sleek, rotating packaging. The shade and texture definitely reminds me of one of their old LE lipstick (from Happy girls are pretty collection) which I loved.

Za tole negovalno šminko sem mislila, da bo precej bolj prosojna, vendar sem se motila. Je kar dobro pigmentirana, hkrati pa je zelo negovalna in vlažilna na ustnicah saj vsebuje karitejevo maslo. Na ustnicah pusti rahel sijoč učinek ter diši prijetno sveže. Je v ozki, priročni embalaži. Odtenek in tekstura pa me spominjajo na šminko iz njihove kolekcije Happy girls are pretty.
