Empties #24

Hi girls.
Another three months have passed (god, time flies by so fast) and I've used up quite a lot of products. I'm excited that there's a lot of skincare since I want to slowly try something new, though my skin was irritated for a while, however I'm glad it's back to normal again. So, grab a cup of tea or coffee and get on to reading, lovelies...

Afrodita Cosmetics Hyaluron Shower Gel
This is one of my all time favorite body washes. It smells so nice: refreshing but a tiny bit sweet. Plus it feels very gentle and nice on the skin.
Repurchase: yes

Dvorec Trebnik Juicy Orange shower gel
If you love oranges or citrusy scents, then you need this one. It smells just like oranges and leaves you totally refreshed and awake. Texture was nothing special but it worked great as well.
Repurchase: maybe

Balea You are Gold body lotion
A shimmery body lotion which leaves your skin looking sunkissed and healthy. It is brought out every year and if you need something shimmery and not too greasy, this is a nice lotion.
Repurchase: maybe

4kids And Us Anti-cellulite body milk
This cosmetics line is all about very natural ingredients, so of course the smell was very herbal which I wasn't a fan of because it made my room smell like it. Though I loved the texture since it was so milky but very hydrating. It nourished my skin nicely, though I don't think it worked against cellulite.
Repurchase: maybe

L'Oreal Paris Colorista Washout - Dirty Pink
I used this color to dye my hair pink and it worked better than I expected. It's supposed to wash out after two or three washes, however it lasted for at least a month on me. You can check how it looked right after here and how it faded nicely here, after 10 days. I do wash my hair very often (every third day) and I expected it to fade immediately but it wasn't like that. The main thing is that the light pink stayed on for very long and then it faded into orangey color which was on the hair for 2 months or even more. So be careful when using it. Though I loved the initial effect because my hair is very sun kissed and looks a bit ombre and light on the ends, so the color looked like it was applied more professionally and it worked as an ombre.
Repurchase: maybe

Batiste Dry Shampoo - Tropical scent
My favorite Batiste scent - it's just so nice, literally tropical, coconuty. I really like Batiste dry shampoos even tough they're not transparent, so they still leave a white residue, however they're kind of better than all the other ones. I tend to buy them on Asos.com especially when on sale.
Repurchase: yes, already have

Afrodita Cosmetics Kids Sun cream SPF 30
Of course I'm not a child, however this sun cream was great. It has a high SPF and is waterproof so it worked very well on me. Because I'm so pale, I get sunburned easily, however this one protected me very well. Plus, the texture absorbs in quickly, which I love. Sadly the packaging was smaller than usual (100ml), however I'll definitely repurchase is next year.
Repurchase: yes

Afrodita Cosmetics Professional Clean Up Cleansing Foam
This product is a part of professional line from Afrodita Cosmetics and it was very nice (you can get t online in Slovenia here). A very gentle, but thick and creamy foam which smells like chamomile. It gently cleansing the skin and leaves it refreshed.
Repurchase: yes

Paula's Choice Skin Balancing Oil Absorbing mask
Sadly I have to throw this mask away. I've used it many times but it is so big (118 ml) that it expired before I could use it up. It was one of the first clay masks and it's a really good one. It dries up meanwhile absorbing all the oils. After 10 minutes or so you wash it off with water and the skin is left very smooth.
Repurchase: maybe

La Roche Posay Physiological Micellar Solution
I think this one has been replaced with the Ultra Micellar Water and I prefer the new version. This one was good, but now it's not available anymore.
Repurchase: no

Bocassy Clean & Tone Micellar Water
I absolutely loved the smell of this micellar water. It was something different but nice. It removed my makeup well and didn't leave the skin dried out. Though sometimes it would sting my eyes.
Repurchase: maybe

Bocassy Serum - Strong Firming & Hydrating
I've had this serum for too long, so I used it up just before it expired. It was my all time favorite serum. Such simple but great ingredients and it didn't make my skin greasy. It was my go to serum when I wanted great hydration. However because it's not the cheapest, I used it sparingly. Read more about it here.
Repurchase: maybe

Jasmin Girl Intimate Wipes
I've previously said that these were not wet enough and I wouldn't repurchase them, but as you can see, I did. This time I think these are just ok and serve their purpose. I like that the top has the plastic closing, so they don't dry out as fast.
Repurchase: maybe

Borotalco Intensive Anti-perspirant
This is one of my all time favorite deodorants. It really works if you sweat a lot (like I did in the summer), so it keeps you stinky-free. More about it in the review here.
Repurchase: yes

Garnier Perfect Blur smoothing perfecting primer
This was one of the first face primers available in the drugstore. It's like silicon and it blurs the skin, so that pores look smaller and skin is evened out. To me, it was just too smooth, so foundation wouldn't apply so well on top. I did try to use it up but I gave up and it became too old.
Repurchase: no

Vichy Pureté Thermale 3in1 One Step Cleanser - sample
I do not agree with the claim of this product. It's supposed to be a cleansing milk, toner and eye-makeup remover all in one. I just don't think this one removes my makeup. It just feels like a nice cleansing milk, great for second cleanse. It is ok, but nothing special.
Repurchase: no

Duchesse Cosmetic Cotton Pads
Because I use up cotton pads so often I like buying cheap ones. These are not the best because they're not thick, but they totally work and I would say they're nice ! This again is a special edition, so the packaging looks very tropical
Repurchase: yes (always)

CadeaVera Eye Makeup Remover Pads with oil
This is a very travel friendly product. The pads are infused with oil, which is great. They do remove the makeup very well, however they can make your eyes sting. Still I prefer them on the go because I'm very minimalistic with packing when travelling.
Repurchase: maybe

Essence All About Matt ! oil control paper
If you're an "oily skin" kinda girl, you need these. I've spoken about these kind of magical papers here. They're genius because they absorb the oils without removing your makeup. Plus it's better to apply powder afterwards then on just oily skin. These are the cheapest (around 2 €).
Repurchase: already have

Avon Spa Treasures of The Dessert restoring hand cream
A very great hand cream. The texture was thicker, so it moisturised my hands very well due to Argan oil. Plus it wasn't greasy. The smell is maybe a bit oriental but still very nice.
Repurchase: maybe

Burt's Bees Beeswax lip balm
I've featured a Pomegranate version of this one very long ago (here) and I loved that one. However, this one left me "meh". It was moisturising, however a bit more on the matt side and not so greasy, so I didn't feel like it was hydrating enough. Plus it's not that cheap. And the peppermint smell wasn't the best either. I don't know how the other version worked better.
Repurchase: no

Labello Original - neon version
I am a fan of original Labello and always will be. It is the best lip balm for my lips and it always works as it is very hydrating. This one was in the neon packaging which is supposed to be glowing in the dark, however I think it's a gimmick since mine wasn't really glowy in my purse. Now they also offer a glittery packaging, which I might need to get soon.
Repurchase: yes

Kiehl's Facial Fuel No-Shine moisturizing lip balm
Unfortunately this one was featured in my post about disappointing products (here). I paid too much (10€) for it to be just slightly moisturising. It wasn't a miracle worker and I prefer some cheaper lip balms.
Repurchase: no

CadeaVera Anti-Shine Mattifying Papers
Another pack of these papers. Sadly I cannot find these in Müller stores anymore, so let me know if you've seen them lately. They were super cheap and compact, so they would just slide into my bag.
Repurchase: unfortunately no
