What is a CC cream ?

It is a hybrid of hydrating cream and liquid foundation. Its main task is to correct the skin (even out the skin tone, reduce redness...). Plus it provides more coverage than BB cream.

Matte

Tekstura: penasta, na začetku se zdi težja, ampak se zelo hitro zabriše in je na koži lahkotna. Jaz nimam občutka, da bi mi obtežila kožo in se ne občuti kot pravi puder. 
Prekrivnost: srednja pri nanosu pumpice in pol (na embalaži je napisano, da je polna prekrivnost). Prekrije večino mojih nepravilnosti, pri tem pa koža še vedno izgleda naravno. Kakšne večje mozolje je potrebno prekriti s korektorjem. Videz je naraven, ni sijoč in tudi ne preveč matt. Ne občuti se kot maska.
Obstojnost: po 8 urah nošenja, moja koža izgleda bolj sijoča, vendar ne preveč mastna. Mi je všeč, da se ne loči na koži, ampak enakomerno bledi. 
Vonj: nič posebnega. Če jo povonjate zelo blizu, se voha klasičen kozmetičen vonj.
SPF: 40

Original

Tekstura: lahka, vendar ne preveč tekoča. Enostavno se zabriše. Lepo se posuši in ni lepljiva ali težka. Najlepša se zabriše s čopičem kot je Zoeva 102 Silk Finish.
Prekrivnost: srednja, mogoče malce slabša kot pri matte različici. Izgled je lepo naraven, ne preveč sijoč. 
Obstojnost: če pudra ne fiksiram z rahlim slojem pudra v kamnu, se svetim zelo hitro. Drugače pa je po 3-4 urah opazno, da je koža sijoča. Tako, da za cel dan ta CC krema ni primerna za mojo mešano kožo. Prekrivnost seveda malo zbledi čez dan.
Vonj: rahlo diši po limonah (limoninem sorbetu), kar je meni všeč saj se mi zdi tako osvežilna, ko jo nanašam.
SPF: 50+

Matte

Texture: like a mousse. A bit heavier to start off, but wears lightweight. It's easy to blend with Zoeva 102 Silk Finish brush. I don't feel it on the face throughout the day.
Coverage: medium (using one and a half pump). It covers most of imperfections (on big ones, you should use concealer) and evens out my skin tone. Looks natural, not too matt. It doesn't feel like a mask. On the packaging says it's full coverage though.
Longevity: after a whole day of wear, my skin tends to become more oily in comparison to Revlon Colorstay. But still, it doesn't separate, the skin just looks a bit more shiny. Coverage fades throughout the day a bit.
Scent: nothing special, if you smell it really closely, it's just like classic cosmetics scent.
SPF: 40

Original

Texture: light, not too runny but easy to blend. It dries down a bit, so it doesn't feel sticky or heavy. 
Coverage: medium 
Longevity: on my oily T-zone it wears on for about 5-6 hours. So it's not appropriate for a longer working day because it may be moving around. Coverage wears off a bit. It's definitely shinier but still not too oily. And it doesn't separate.
Scent: smells lightly like lemons which I really like because it feels refreshing while applying it.
SPF: 50+

Zaključek:

Najprej morem omeniti, da je nabor odtenkov pri teh CC kremah slabši. Najsvetlejši odtenek: Fair je zame v zimskem času mogoče mičkeno pretemen, vendar ga nekako zabrišem. Temu odtenku pa sledi precej temnih odtenkov. Odtenek: Light je že kar temen. Tega imam v original različici CC kreme, zato jo zmešam s posvetlitvenimi kapljicami. Zelo mi je všeč embalaža, ker ni steklena ter je lahka in  priročna za potovanja. Hkrati pa ima priročno pumpico. Potovalna različica ima navadno tubico brez pumpice. Moji koži najbolj ustreza matirna verzija, vendar pozimi ne potrebujem tako matt izdelkov, zato je zame takrat tudi fajn original različica (vendar imam to v pretemnem odtenku). To uporabim tudi, ko potrebujem podlago samo za par ur.
Glede sestavin nisem strokovnjak, pa vendar sem malce raziskala. Na embalaži piše, da CC krema vsebuje serum proti staranju in za vlaženje. Na vrhu sestavin pri original različici je polžja slina, katero najdemo tudi v korejskih izdelkih za kožo in je znana po vlažilnih lastnostih. Obe pa vsebujeta Dimethicone (silikon, ki daje svilnat občutek), Niaciamide (se bojuje proti aknam) in Hialuronsko kislino (pri Matte je precej na dnu liste, pri Original malo višje) za vlaženje. Hkrati vsebujeta nekaj antioksidantov ter pomirjajočih sestavin. Tako, da imata lastnosti negovalne kreme. 

Cena za katerokoli CC kremo je okoli 39€, kar je precej drago, vendar imam sama še dražje pudre, ki pa se ne obnesejo tako dobro kot matt CC krema. Obe CC kremi se mi zdita dobri, tako, da če se odločate med njima, izberite tisto, ki je primerna za vaš tip kože: suh ali mešan/masten. Moja najljubša je Matt verzija. Res jo rada nosim, ker nimam občutka kot, da bi nosila težek puder in tudi izgled mi je res všeč za vsak dan. Prav tako pa ne poudari suhih predelov.

Conclusion:
Firstly I can say that the whole CC cream range has some strange color choices. The lightest one is: Fair which can be too dark for me sometimes but I somehow manage to blend it in nicely. And then  they have a variety of darker shades. Shade: light is quite dark. I have that shade in an original version and I mix it with lightening drops. The packaging is great for travel since it's not glass plus I love the pump, which is really handy. Plus it has SPF 40. Though a travel size is a normal squeezy tube. My skin is on more oily side, but in the colder months it's a it better and I don't need such mattifying products, so that's when I would choose an original version if I don't need my foundation to last all day or I will just wear it for a few hours. As goes for ingredients, I'm not an expert. On the packaging it says the CC cream contains anti-aging and hydrating serum. From ingredients on top of the list, I found that the original version contains snail slime (also found in k-beauty) which has hydration properties. But also both contain silicon (Dimethicone) which leaves velvety feeling, Niaciamide which has anti-acne properties and Hyaluronic Acid (Matte version has it at the bottom of the ingredients list, while Original one a bit higher) for hydration. Also some antioxidants and soothing ingredients are added. So they do have skincare benefits. 

Price for both is: 39€, which is quite high but I have even more expensive foundations which don't give me such great effect and look. I really love wearing matt CC cream because I don't have a feeling of a heavy foundation and the natural finish on the skin looks really nice for everyday. Plus it doesn't cling to dry patches. All in all, these are great and if you're thinking about buying any, choose the one for your skin type.  

This foaming face wash is not a revolutionary product, however it's really nice and I love it. It's gentle: doesn't contain any alcohol, it contains aloe vera and glycerin. It cleanses the face very nicely but gently. I mostly use it in the morning, one and a half pump is enough. The texture is thicker, so when you apply it onto the skin, it is nicely creamy and doesn't disappear right away. I do think because it 's a foam product, it gets used up faster. Also it's quite cheap.

Another face wash, but a bit different. I've been using LRP Effaclar face wash for years now. But in 2020 they launched a new version which works as a micro-peeling. It's even more cleansing and fights impurities. I don't use it now in the winter months because it could dry out my skin, however other months it was great. I love using it when I have makeup on. So, firstly I remove makeup with micellar water and then wash my face with this face wash. It really deeply cleanses the face and removes all the remaining makeup. This is not a new product to me, however I really used it in 2020. It's a very light serum with hyluronic acid which is hydrating. I love using it when I want a simple moisturizer with a refreshing feeling (especially in the morning). Of course it's very light on the skin and not greasy at all. It just gives you a nice hydrating feeling. Also it's nice as a base for makeup. However it might be a bit on the pricey side.

This is like an universal cream: it's for the face, body and hands. It's repairing and regenerating cream. I mostly used it on my hands and I think it's great. It has an interesting texture because it seems a bit greasy at first, however it immediately sinks into the skin. It leaves a soft but dry feeling behind. It's great for any cracks and very dry areas. It's not irritating, so it's even ok to use it on the inflamed areas as it is soothing. The scent is nothing special or invasive, but I like that. 

I forgot to mention this product in 2019, however it was a "must have" in 2020. I think it's like a cult product, so of course I had to try it. I bought a smaller packaging and I'm glad I did, because you need a really small amount, so it will last you a long time. It's based on mineral oils and it has a very specific scent. You can put it anywhere, on the really dry areas. It has a really oily, thick texture. So on the lips it looks like a lip oil. I mostly used it on my very cracked and dry hands and any areas where I scratched myself so badly because my skin was so dry and itchy. I could use Bepanthen also, but I like this one. I apply it in the evening on my hands when I know I'm not gonna do anything, so I can really wait for it to work and sink in of course because it's oily. It's also great on any irritated areas because it doesn't sting.

I also didn't buy or test much new makeup because I also need to use up some of it in my collection. But the days that I even went to the store I put on a bit of makeup because I like it. Max Factor Facefinity All Day Flawless Foundation - 40 Light Ivory

Ta puder sem prejela lani okoli božiča ter sem ga testirala v začetku letošnjega leta. Kar hitro se mi je dopadel in sem bila vesela, da imam še eno podlago, ki mi je všeč, saj sem glede tekočih pudrov precej zbirčna. Najbolj mi je všeč lahka, tekoča tekstura, ki pa je še vedno dobro (srednje) prekrivna. Odtenek me je pravtako presenetil saj je precej svetel, kar pa običajno v drogerijah ne najdem in se tako lepo zlije z mojo porcelanasto poltjo. Gre za mat finiš, ki pa deluje malce sijoče. Meni je za hladnejše dni res fajn, ker se mi zdi, da ne poudari suhih predelov ter ne zateguje kože. Za poleti izberem kaj bolj obstojnejšega. Več tukaj.

I received this foundation last Christmas, so I started testing it this year. Quite quickly I got fond of it. I have difficulty with foundations because my skin is quite oily, but a bit dry in colder months. Also my skin is very pale, so most drugstore foundations are too dark for me. But this one is very nice. It's lightweight, but still has a nice coverage (medium). It's not too matt or too hydrating: it's a nice natural finish. Plus it's not heavy. L'Oreal Paris Glow Mon Amour Liquid Highlighting Drops - Champagne

Tole je čudovit tekoči osvetljevalec. Je na bolj oljni osnovi, tako, da ga je treba pred uporabo premešati in potrebna je samo kapljica za oba lička. Je v barvi šampanjca, tako, da je bolj bež zlatkast ton, ki se dopade večim tonom kože. Jaz ga nanesem kar s kapalko na prst. Na vrh obeh lic naredim pikice, malo počakam in lepo zabrišem. Ker je zelo tekoč traja, da se posuši, vendar mi je to po eni strani všeč, ker je veliko tekočih osvetljevalcev, ki se takoj posušijo in se zato težje zabrišejo. Izredno lepo se sveti in je dobro opazen - ni mi všeč, ko osvetljevalci kar izginejo s kože. Nima pa velikih bleščic, da bi izgledala kot "disko krogla". Lahko ga nanesete malo ali več, za še večji učinek. Ne vem pa kako bom porabila to veliko embalažo. Več tukaj

This is a really gorgeous highlighter. It's oil based, so you have to shake it firstly. You only need a little drop for both cheeks. It's in a champagne color, so it's more of a beige goldy (not too gold) undertone. I think it complements a lot of skin color. I simply put it on with a finger, applying little dots on top of my cheeks. Because it's very liquidy, it takes a bit of time to dry. But I like that, because some liquid highlighters dry too quickly and they're hard to blend. This one doesn't. Plus it's very shiny (not glittery) and visible, which I like because sometimes highlighters just disappear. You can apply little or more, depending on how much shine you want. I love it. But I'm probably never going to use up such a big packaging. More here.

The Body Shop Coconut Bronze Glistening Glow Powder

The Body Shop ima tudi kar nekaj odličnih ličil, čeprav sem jih preizkusila samo nekaj. Še vedno pa mi ni jasno zakaj so leto iz prodaje dali osvetlitvene kapljice - res ne vem kje jih bom dobila, ko mi jih zmanjka (sem si pa naredila zalogo). Poleti so lansirali nekaj bronzerjev in ta duo se mi je kar hitro prikupil. Bronzer je res dobro pigmentiran in niti malo ne izgleda "lisasto" na obrazu. Prav tako ni oranžkast, ampak doda lepo zagorelost ličkam. Osvetljevalec je tako univerzalne bež barve in doda lep naraven sijaj. Cel produkt pa diši po kokosu in poletju, kar se mi zelo dopade ob nanašanju. Več tukaj.

The Body Shop has some nice makeup products, from what I've tried - not a lot. Though I will not get over the fact that they discontinued lightening drops - those were the best at making your foundation match. So this summer they launched a few bronzers and bronzing oils. This bronzer duo I liked immediately. Bronzer is nicely pigmented, not patchy, nor orangey. Plus it doesn't have any fallout. It creates a nice bronzed look. Also highlighter is in a nice beige tone, which compliments my skin tone and it gives just a nice amount of shine. Plus the whole duo smells like coconuts, which is really nice when applying it. Essence Bye Bye Panda Eyes Mascara

Ta maskara me je letos res presenetila. Gre za "tubing" maskaro, ki se ne paca. Sama imam mastne veke in tole sem uporabljala tudi v vročih poletnih mesecih in mi je bila odlična. Ok, tu in tam sem opazila kakšno mini pikico, vendar nič tako zelo opaznega. Je tudi lepo volumenska, kar je meni predvsem pomembno. Tudi drugim sem jo priporočala in jim je bila všeč. Več tukaj.

This mascara surprised me nicely. It's a "tubing" mascara, so it's smudge proof. I have oily eyelids and mostly during the warmer months mascara very easily smears under my eyes or top of my eyelid. So this one was well tested and I loved it. Here and there I might have noticed a little dot, but I didn't have any panda eyes. Also it's nicely volumizing and black, so it gives my lashes a nice effect. I recommended it to some girls and they loved it as well. More here.

Catrice Instant Awake Concealer 005 Neutral Light

Ta korektor mi je zelo všeč, saj je tako lahkoten. Jaz običajno ne potrebujem zelo težkih korektorjev, ker nimam velikih podočnjakov in tudi ne želim, da se mi vsedajo v gubice. Tale se enostavno zabriše in se ne opazi na podočnjakih. Nevtralizira modro/vijoličen ton ter je prekrivnost ravno pravšnja. Embalaža verjetno ni najbolj higienična, ampak je priročna za hiter nanos. I really like this concealer because it's so light-weight. I don't usually need nor want heavy concealer, because I don't have big eye bags and I don't like concealer settling in. So this one is perfect because it's easy to blend and it's not even noticeable. It does hide any blue color and gives just enough coverage. The packaging might not be my favorite, though it's easy to use. More here.

Catrice Matt Pro Ink Non-Transfer Lipstick

Čeprav letos nisem nosila šminke tako pogosto, pa so me navdušile Catrice tekoče šminke. Najbolj zato, ker so res ekstra lahko mazljive in se ne posušijo prehitro, tako, da imaš še čas, da hitro popraviš nanos. Hkrati pa se mi zdi, da mi ustnic ne zategujejo preveč in so za mat tekoče šminke, precej udobne. Tudi poceni so in na voljo je veliko lepih odtenkov. Več fotografij tukaj.

I didn't wear much lipstick this year. However, I was impressed by Catrice liquid lipsticks. They're easy to apply, don't dry too fast, so you have time to correct application. Also they're not too drying, so I don't feel like my lips are tightened. So I'd say for a liquid lipstick, they're quite comfortable. Also there's a beautiful variety of shades available. More here.

Essence Make Me Brow eyebrow gel mascara - 01 blondy brows

Tole "maskaro" za obrvi sem si kupila, ker sem porabila ostale. Hkrati so od Catrice Eyebrow Filler dali iz prodaje. Najprej mi tale produkt ni bil najboljši, a sem ga sčasoma vzljubila. Barva mi je super, ker ni rumena ali oranžkasta, temveč bolj sivkasta. Krtačka pa je lepo precizna. Izdelek na nesem na obrvi in, ko se malo posuši si obrvi še malo počešem, da se ne opazi tako zelo. Vseeno so moje obrvi zaradi barve bolj opazne in definirane. Za obrvi uporabljam samo tole. Več tukaj.

I purchased this brow mascara because I ran out of the others, plus my fave: Catrice Eyebrow Filler was discontinued. I didn't love it at first, but trying it out multiple times, I really do like it. I love the color, because it's ashy, not orangey or yellow. Brush is little and a bit more precise. So I apply it onto my brows, wait a bit and brush through with a different brush. It's not too obvious, but my brows are definitely more defined and have more color to them. I use only this on my brows. More here.
