December je tukaj in čas je za božične, omejene izdaje lepotnih izdelkov. The Body Shop je eden izmed tistih znamk, katere Božič vzamejo resno in je verjetno njihov najboljši čas v letu. Letos imajo na voljo 3 posebne vonje. Sicer pogrešam vonj po jagodičevju in upam, da bo naslednjo leto spet na voljo. Pa vendar sta se mi priljubila dva nova vonja.

It's finally december and it's time to write a bit about christmassy products and Christmas beauty lines. The Body Shop loves Christmas and each year they prepare some festive goodies. This year they introduced three scents. I do miss the berry scent and hope next year it will be available again. However, I found two new favorite scents.

Salted Caramel & Vanilla Reed Diffuser

Tega izdelka sem se res razveselila, ker imam rada sveče ter dišave. Žal pa meni ne ustreza. Spomnim se, ko sem pred leti imela Rituals difuzor, ki je bil sicer z vonjem po pomaranči in je bil kar prijeten. Zato sem mislila, da mi bo ta tudi ustrezal. Gre za dišavo, ki se skozi dan sprošča skozi palčke. Super je, ker je ne rabiš ugasniti tako kot svečo. Pri difuzorjih gre za "hit or miss", saj so včasih vonji tako blagi, da ga ne zaznaš. Ta pa je v bistvu odličen. Ko sem ga odprla in dala not kar vse palčke, sem takoj zavonjala dišavo: gre za sladek vonj po karameli (spominja tudi na vanilijo) z malce cvetličnim pridihom. Sicer je lep vonj, vendar je meni presladek. To sem ugotovila po parih urah, ko mi je kar naenkrat bilo slabo. Po nekaj časa se ne zavedaš, da dišav še kar vonjaš, ampak res odišavi ves prostor. Vem, da večini ustreza in tudi druge blogerke so ga pohvalile. Res je kvaliteten in odišavi tudi velik prostor. Sama sem ga zato kar zaprla in dala palčke na balkon, ki pa so se vonjale še 1 teden potem. Zdaj bo v njem uživala moja mama, ki ni tako občutljiva.

I got really excited about this product because I like candles and scents for home. I had a diffuser before (one from Rituals) which smelled like oranges and was pleasant. However this one was not for me. The scent is dispersed through wooden sticks. It's great because you cannot set anything on fire like with candles. Diffusers are kinda gimmicky because usually a lot of them you cannot even smell. But this one is quite strong. I set it up and immediately I smelled the fragrance. It is a sweet (but salted) caramel scent which reminds me a bit of vanilla but with a floral kick to it. The scent itself is nice, but way too sweet for me. After a few hours of smelling it in the living room I got a bit sick and then I figured it was this diffuser. When you've been smelling it for a long time, you cannot tell the scent is there but it really scents the whole room. I know a lot of people will like it and it is a great quality. But I can't use it, so I closed it and put the sticks onto the balcony, which smelled the same even for a week. So I passed it onto my mom.

Warm Vanilla Shower Gel

Verjetno se bo večina razveselila tega vonja po vanilji. Božiča brez sladkih dišav ni. In tudi vse blogerke so bile očarane nad tem vonjem. Samo jaz ne. Jaz sem popolno nasprotje in sem se razveselila vseh ostalih sadnih vonjev. Sicer pa tudi uživam v tem vonju. Gre za prijeten vonj po vaniliji, ki je malce cvetličen. Gel je gostejši in se počasi porablja. Lepo se speni in je prijeten. Sicer pa ni tako poseben. Sama kupujem TBS tuš gele samo zaradi vonjev.

Most of you will probably get excited about vanilla scent. Yes, there's no Christmas without sweet scents. It's just me that isn't that convinced by this scent. I mainly love fruity scents. But I still enjoy this scent. It's a very sweet vanilla scent with a bit of floral kick to it. The shower gel is thicker and you don't need much. It foams up nicely and it really lingers on your skin for a few hours. Though it's not that special. I mainly buy TBS shower gels because they smell so nice.

Juicy Pear Body Yogurt

Jogurti za telo so precej zanimivi saj imajo ekstra lahko teksturo ter se hitro vpijejo. Super so za nanos ravno preden se oblečeš, ker se hitro vpije in ne pusti mastnega občutka. Sicer bi takšen izdelek izbrala bolj za poletje. Pa vendar, imajo na voljo tudi maslo. Glavno kar je pri tem jogurtu je vonj. Sočna hruška je ekstra zanimiv vonj. Lepo saden, sočen vonj ampak ne pretirano kisel. Res diši po hruškah. Morda si omislim še kakšen izdelek.

TBS body yogurt is and interesting product. It has a light, jelly texture and on the skin it immediately absorbs. It's great when you're in a hurry because it doesn't leave a greasy or sticky feeling. A texture like this I would choose more for warmer months. Though they have a butter texture too. But what I like the most is this new pear scent. It's very interesting. Very fruity and juicy but not that sour. You can definitely smell the fresh pear. I might have to buy another product in this scent.

Rich Plum Hand Cream

In še zadnji božični vonj je: razkošna sliva. Gre za sadno cvetličen vonj. Krema za roke ima lažjo teksturo, tako da se hitro vpije v roke. Navlaži roke, vendar ni ekstra vlažilna. Zato za ekstremno suhe roke priporočam kakšno drugo kremo. Super pa je za v torbico saj je embalaža majhna.

And the last scent is: plum. This one is again nicely fruity but with a floral kick. The texture is light and it absorbs into the skin quickly. It hydrates the hands, however it's not extra moisturising. So if you have very dry hands, I recommend you trying something else. Though I really like it for my purse because it's so small.
