Hi girls.
Time for another Empties post. I think I'm getting better at using up products. And I hope you enjoy these kind of posts as much as I do...

Uriage Eau Thermale

This is your standard thermal water in a spray. It's great for refreshing the face or using it as a toner before any cream. This one is not specially different from others but it's still good.

Biotherm Biosource Purifying & Make-up removing milk

I'm not much of a lover of milk cleansers, however I found my way of using them easily. I just pump it onto one cotton pad and then rub it between another cotton pad. Then I would simply rub the two cotton pads all over my face while the makeup remover is taking off my makeup. I loved that it didn't dry out my skin and removed the makeup very well. Now I could enjoy the cleansing milks because back then I hated using my fingers for the use. Read a full review here.

Repurchase: maybe

The Body Shop Drops of Youth Foaming Wash

I really liked this cleansing foam. The texture was thick and it was pleasant to use. Plus it felt very nice on the skin while it removed all the impurities. More about it here.

Repurchase: maybe

Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

I was hesitant about using this micellar water. However it was so hyped up and it turned out it really is the nicest micellar water. It is very effective and gentle. Plus it removes all the makeup effectively. I do really like it.

Repurchase: yes

Clarins One-Step Facial Cleanser

I've previously talked about this cleanser here. It is just amazing for removing stubborn mascara. Even though it is two-phase, it is not that greasy. And it smells very refreshing.

Repurchase: yes

Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Gel Sorbet

The gel sorbet sounds very nice to me. And it was quite lovely. The consistency was like a sorbet, so it wasn't smooth at first, however it spread out easily and evenly hydrated the skin. I put on a lot because it wasn't that moisturising. Though I loved how light weight it was.

Repurchase: maybe

Rexona Invisible Anti-Perspirant spray

This one is always nice. It does the job and keep you "stinky-free" for a looong time ! Also it doesn't leave yellow marks. It's still a bit white though and sometimes I choke on how powerful the scent and mist is.

Repurchase: always

Borotalco Invisible Deo Roll-On

This deo was nice as well. It is quite thick but when it sinks in, it is invisible. And the smell is very gentle and powdery. I did feel like it protected me for a long time and if I was sweating, I could only smell the deodorant. Though when I was in a hurry I didn't reach for it because it took some time to dry. So this is not my go to deodorant in summer.

Repurchase: yes

Duchdas Feel Fresh Grapefruit Deo

I bought this one just because I forgot a deodorant. I thought I might keep it in my bag. It was strongly scented with grapefruit which I don't mind since I love fresh scents. Though it left white marks on my black clothing, so I didn't use it often.

Repurchase: probably not

Avon Apple Crumble Bubble Bath

Apple Crumble scent sounds lovely right. Though after using it two times, I didn't like it as much. As Maja Parokeets said, she uses it as a hand soap, I also do that. I didn't want to waste it, so I'm handling it that way. Still I'm not keen on the scent. Though if you want a lot of bubbles, it's good but just get it in any other scent.

Repurchase: no

Afrodita Cosmetics Coconut Milk Cream Shower Gel

Loved this creamy shower gel. Wasn't too coconuty and it felt pleasant on the skin. I just love Afrodita Cosmetics products.

Repurchase: maybe

Afrodita Cosmetics Vanilla Cream Shower Gel

Another one of their shower gels. This one had little pieces of cacao in it. It was quite vanillary but still nice.

Repurchase: maybe

CD Orange Flower Shower Gel

This one surprised me. It's a standard gel shower gel, however is a bit thicker and foams up greatly. I really liked the pleasant scent of orange flower. It was refreshing but still not too zesty.

Repurchase: maybe

Duchesse Maxi Cotton Pads

This brand makes my favorite cotton pads. Though I always use the regular size. The maxi ones are just too big. I prefer using one small one for my eyes and another one for the face. I don't like mixing. Though when I have heavy eye makeup, it comes in handy.

Repurchase: maybe

Cotoneve Cotton Pads

These ones had one side meant for exfoliation. Though I don't see the point of it as you're not supposed to exfoliate your skin too often. I liked that they were not thin and were easy to use.

Repurchase: maybe

Himalaya Purifying Neem Face Wash

This was just a basic face wash. Though it was thick so it took a bit of time to foam up. It was just ok and nicely cleansing.

Repurchase: no

Essence All about Matt ! oil control paper

I love these. They can be your makeup saviour in the summer or on a long day. They're great to pop into the bag and use them on the ago anywhere, to blot away excess oil. You can read more here.

Repurchase: yes

Nivea MicellAIR Expert Make-up remover wipes

I've also recently talked about these on the blog here. I liked how wet the wipes were, however they stung my face a bit and to me that is not great. I wish they were less scented and a bit more gentle.

Hi girls.
Some of you might be already looking forward to summer vacations, however I've already been to seaside and tested some sun care for you all. Afrodita Cosmetics has had sun care for a few years now, however they've improved formulas, revamped the packaging and added a few bits to their new summer collection. I love their products and I like to support our Slovenian products so I was excited to test out a few of them.
First of all, my skin is absolutely pale, so in the summer time I like to use protection with high SPF to avoid sunburns. That's why I need good products.

This cream is originally intended for kids, however I do really like it as an adult. The texture is not greasy and it sinks in very quickly. The scent is quite gentle. But the most important aspect: it's waterproof. I tested it while swimming and laying on a inflatable bed. I did not get sunburned, so it really did work and did not wear off. However reapplying is a must with and sun creams. The packaging is quite small (100ml), so I used it up quite quickly. That's why I'd also like to try Kids body milk.

This body milk has a quite high SPF of 30, however my only complaint is that it is not waterproof. The texture is a bit greasy so it takes a while to sink in. However even after waiting before going to water, it did not perform the best. It wore off and I got sunburned once. I seem to really like waterproof formulas, so this one was not the best for me. Though I would try the body milk with SPF20 as it has waterproof formula.

And of course let's not forget about face cream with SPF. It's a must have ! The texture of Sensitive cream is a bit greasy, so I as a oily skin girl wouldn't use it under the makeup. However, I did like it on the beach. It protected my face greatly and I could see a bit of burns where I did not put it properly (around my hair line). Even though it's greasy, with the combination of sea, it did not clog my pores. Though I would mostly recommend it to the ones with drier or normal skin type.

After sun milk has a nice hydrating but not too greasy texture. It offers a cooling effect while nourishing the skin. I do like to use after sun creams also on my face, however this one is not that appropriate. While cooling effect might be very nice on the body, the menthol was just too much for my face and I could feel it for a long time. Also it smells minty.

Besides the milk, you can also use a "yogurt". It has a nice, thin whipped texture which is not greasy at all and sinks in right away. The coconut water is refreshing on the skin while shea butter hydrates. Plus it has an appealing smell of coconuts, so if you like those type of scents, I recommend it greatly. It's great to use it even as an usual body lotion during the day, however if your skin is a bit more burned, I prefer the body milk with cooling effect as it is more hydrating. I do however love using the yogurt on my face and it does not clog my pores.

SKINCARE

Mirati Face Wash

I usually buy whichever gel face cleanser since they usually don't impress me. Though I want it to be greatly cleansing. However, this one is quite different. The texture is thick, however when mixed with water it foams up nicely and feel very soft on the skin. It just feels different and more hydrating. Plus it doesn't dry out my skin at all. I blogged about it here.

Caudalie: Vinosource Moisturizing Mattifying Fluid

This face cream quickly became my favorite one. After years of searching for a great mattifying cream, I've successfully found something other than Vichy Normaderm which I've been using for 5 years. Firstly I discovered TBS Tea Tree mattifying cream which is high on top of my favorites list but somehow this one by Caudalie really stole my attention. It's such a gentle, light weight cream and great for oily skin. Containing natural ingredients it also feels good to be putting onto my skin. And I like the matt effect even though eventually I get oily. You can read my review here.

Vichy Idealia Eyes Eye Contour cream

Recently I've started using eye creams more often. And I especially like this one. It brightens up the under eye area while hydrating it. It's perfect for a routine before makeup since it sinks in right away. Though for a night time it could be more moisturizing.

Garnier Biphase Micellar Clenasing Water in Oil

There have been two micellar waters that impressed me - this one and by Bocassy. However I chose this one just because I'm used to anything infused with oils, so it's very easy to remove makeup. It does the job amazingly, plus it smells very fresh. And in comparison to any oil makeup remover it is much better since it's not that greasy. Though maybe I wouldn't recommend it for those who dislike cleansing oils or such since it can leave behind a bit of a greasy feeling. However I always double cleanse my face so it's perfect for me.

BODY

Afrodita Cosmetics Natural Balance Intimate Soap

I've only mentioned this product in my empties. Intimate products are not something we talk about a lot, however a soap is a must. It's balancing (the intimate area has different pH than whole body) and keeps the area fresh while this one with aloe vera also acts calming. I've tried the 3 Active version, however I kind of prefer this one. Also I love the fact that it's Slovenian made.

Soap & Glory Clean On Me Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel

I know it's a mini sized product - 75ml to be exact, however it impressed me after just a few uses. Being infused with built-in body lotion it leaves the skin nicely soft and feels extra moisturizing. Besides that, I just looove the scent. It smells fruity but a bit floral, it's just unique. I need to purchase a full size soon.

Lush Sleepy Body lotion

I know I haven't been using this lotion for a long time (only two months), however I totally fell in love with the scent. I've talked about Lush body lotions before because they're the best to me. And then Christmas collection came out and along this body lotion. I just love the sweet lavender scent, it's just so comforting. Sadly you might not find this scent in stores anymore as it was part of Christmas collection.

OTHER

Lush I love Juicy shampoo

I've been using this shampoo for more than a year which is rare for me. It is simply the best I could find for my type of hair (greasy scalp, drier ends). So basically it is a shampoo with fresh juices which cleanse my scalp while Carrageenan Extract leaves it nicely soft. I don't even need a conditioner afterwards. Though I have to warn you that combination of juices can sting the eyes while washing.

Jessica Phenomen Culticle oil

My culticles have been very dry this year and when I remember I always choose this oil. Unlike some other oils, it absorbs quite quickly and doesn't leave behind too much of a greasy feeling. I dislike the almond scent but will still use it since it works nicely. I don't know how I will ever use it up because you need a small amount so it's definitely worth the money.

Hi girls.
Another 2 and a half months have passed and here I am talking about my trash. This time around I used up some products which I'll miss, however I cannot hoard them anymore. Also it's starting to get cold and after this post I'm trying to use up more body butters.

Afrodita Cosmetics SOS lotion

Rituals Good Luck Scrub

I absolutely loved the whole set I got from Rituals (more here). This scrub was quite effective and harsh, so I used it in moderation. Though it had big particles of sugar, it also contained some oils which left my skin moisturised and really soft. It also had kind of a fresh scent. If you don't like abrasive and good scrubs, this one might not be for you.

Hi girls !

My box was full of empty cosmetics, so here is another empties post ! I think I need to start purging my collection again because I'm not satified with how much I use up :)

Dove Invisible Dry Antiperspirant

Up untill this year I haven't tried anything from Dove. I don't know why because most products have such good reviews online. So, this deodorant smells really fresh and feminine. It's great at protecting me from bad smells and it lasts up whole day. It's supposed to be invisible, however if you spray too closely it can look a bit white.

Repurchase: already have

Garnier Neo Soft Flow Antiperspirant - Floral Touch

I was so happy when I got a package full of these new Garnier Neo deodorants. I actually really like them, however I got a problem with the packaging. Somehow I used this one only a few times and then all of a sudden it was completely empty. Just like the spray dissapeared and I've heard it happened to many girls. I'm using another one at the moment and that one is completely fine. I'm just not willing to risk that in the future. Other than that, it is a really nice deodorant and this scent was one of my faves. It lasts whole day and the actual spray is really gentle on the skin.

Repurchase: nope

Rexona Anti-perspirant - Invisible Aqua

This one is always nice. It does the job and keep you "stinky-free" for a looong time ! Also it doesn't leave yellow marks. It's still a bit white though.

Rexona Anti-perspirant Invisible black + white

Hi girls.
Today you'll read more about my essentials products for keeping my skin hydrated and in a good condition this summer. This summer I received many products but I picked the ones which work great for my skin and would also recommend them. I like to keep it simple and choose light-weight products but also those who are greatly hydrating. So, let's see what I like...

Sun Protection Cream for the Face
A face protection in the summer is a must. Not only it damages your skin but excessive sun-tanning can make you look older. Also my skin is literally porcelain so I need to use sun protection, otherwise I get burned. I struggle with high SPF creams because those tend to be too heavy for my oily skin. That's why I mainly like to combine a foundation with SPF with a Lierac Sunific SPF15 sun cream because it's really light weight and I almost cannot feel it on the skin. Also it smells lovely. To ensure myself of not getting sun burned when I'm on the sun for longer time, I use this Alga Maris BIO cream with SPF30. I got it on SummerMBeauty event and instantly fell in love because it smells like coconuts or should I say: like summer ! It's BIO certified and contains coconut oil as well as some algae. It is just a bit heavier than Lierac, so I'm careful to how much I put on.

Nivea Sun Protect & Bronze - SPF30

Nivea Sun Protect & Bronze Sun Spray- SPF30
This has been my go to sun protection for the body this summer. I like to use sprays and transparent liquids like this one because they're easier to use. Though this one takes some time to sink in. It's water resistant which is great and also gives me enough protection from sun.

4kids and us - Olje po sončenju

4kids and us - After sun oil
This is a Slovenian natural cosmetics brand, made by a family of four. Finally I got to try it and I can say that the products are well made. After sun care is in my opinion really a must. That's why I use oils and moisturisers at night, to soothe my skin and hydrate it during the night. This oil with a herbal scent nourishes my skin, even though it doesn't sink in that quickly. All I can say is that sometimes it's good to know what you put on the skin.

Mirati face wash

Mirati face wash
This is the product that totally made it into my 2016 favorites. I love face washes in a gel-like form and this one is perfect. It contains aloe vera which is great for soothing, but also when you wash your face with it, it feels so hydrating ! Also smells like lemons, which I love since I'm citrusy-scent kind of lover. Great thing is that it's SLS and paraben free.

Kozmetika Afrodita Aloe Vera Hydra Tonik

Afrodita Cosmetics Aloe Vera Hydra Toner
I love toners like this one because they're versatile. You can use it as an usual toner, to prepare your skin for face cream or simply spray it on the face and all over the body to refresh yourself in the summer time. It contains aloevera, which calms and soothes the skin, especially after being on the sun. It's really easy to use and feels refreshing.

Avon Senses Joyful Tropic Papaya & Peach shower gel
Z vonjem papaje in breskev s tropskim, slajšim pridihom me popelje na morje.

Avon Senses Joyful Tropic Papaya & Peach shower gel
Let's not forget about shower gels. In the summer they help you remove residue of any oils, sun creams, sea salt or even chloride if you swim in the pool. But it's even better in the summer if they have yummy refreshing scents. This one with peach and papaya is so yummy, like a cocktail and will make you wanna drink it - but don't. On my skin it feels creamy and nicely gentle.

D&G - Light Blue Dreaming in Portofino
And let's finish off with my favorite summer fragrance. In the hot summer days I tend not to wear perfume or I choose a really light refreshing one. This is a perfect example of that. Lichi and musk make it refreshing and pleasant. Also it makes me think of the sea each time I wear it. It's not heavy and to me it is quite unique.

Hi girls !
In june I got sent a massive package full of summer appropriate products from Afrodita Cosmetics. They made sure I got everything for summer vacations. Also this brand is close to my heart and I just love it that everything is made in Slovenia. Hopefully this post will still be useful to some of you that don't live in Slovenia. Also there was anti-cellulite gel and shower gel for shaving included but I'll leave those for another time or post.

Sensitive krema za obraz SPF30

SOS Losjon proti komarjem

SOS Tropical spray
Every year I get quite a lot of nasty mosquito bites so you know I was happy to receive this product. However, this year there seems to be lack of mosquitos and I didn't need this spray as much. Still, I can tell you that it smells a bit herbal but fresh and it actually doesn't smell as bad as usual bug repelents. The texture is very light and you cannot feel it on the skin.

SOS Calming gel
