Leto 2020 je tukaj in čas je za favorite leta 2019. Začenjamo z ličili, ki jih je letos malce več. Lanske favorite med ličili pa si lahko ogledaš tukaj. To so moji favoriti, ki sem jih preizkušala in so me navdušili v letošnjem letu. Nekako se ponavlja tip ličil, ki so mi najljubši, pa vendar so se odtenki malce zamenjali.

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Oil-Free Matte with SPF 40 - Fair

Opevana CC krema je tudi mene navdušila. Okej, morem priznati, da ni najboljši "puder" kar sem jih preizkusila, vendar se mi je hitro priljubil. Veliko pudrov se na moji mastni koži ne obnese, četudi so testirani na takšni koži. Zato imam le en ozek izbor podlag. O tej CC kremi govorim kot o pudru, ker je tako prekrivna, da zame ni samo CC krema. Je lahkotna in ustvari lep naravno matirajoč videz. Po njej se sicer hitreje svetim, vendar mi to ni moteče. Najbolj mi je všeč za dneve, ko se mi ne da ličit, ampak želim, da moja koža vseeno izgleda poenoteno in kot da je lepo naličena. Res je drag izdelek, vendar imam nekaj dražjih pudrov, ki se ne obnesejo tako dobro. Celotno objavo si lahko prebereš tukaj.

It Cosmetics CC cream is talk about so much, I had to try it. It's not the best foundation I've tried, however it grew on me and I've been loving it. I rarely find foundations that really work for my oily skin, so I have a limited selection. This foundation is not really a foundation, but a CC cream with more coverage. It's lightweight and is mattifying but still looks natural on the skin. I get shiny quicker, but I like the natural effect. I love it for days when I don't want much makeup on my skin, but still want to look presentable. It is quite expensive, however I have more expensive foundations that don't look as nice. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer & Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

Dva korektorja, ki sta me očaral to leto. Sicer sta si zelo podobna, zato se ne morem odločiti kateri mi je boljši, pa vendar si oba zaslužita mesto med favoriti. O njiju sem spisala primerjavo (več tukaj). Nars korektor je bolj prekriven in res dolgoobstojen, vendar je precej drag. Medtem, ko je Maybelline korektor tudi dovolj prekriven, daje naraven izgled ter je precej cenejši. Če bi se cenovno odločala bi zmagal Maybelline. Ko potrebujem večjo prekrivnost pa izberem Nars korektor. Vsak ima svoje prednosti, vendar sta oba dobra saj se ne vsedata v gubice.

The two concealers that wowed me this year. They might be really similar (even a dupe) but they are a bit different. You can read the whole comparison here. Nars concealer has a lot of coverage and is very long lasting but quite expensive. While Maybelline one has still a nice coverage, but is lighter and quite cheaper. If I chose based on the price, I'd choose Maybelline. However when I want a lot of coverage, I choose Nars. They're both good though and don't crease or settle into the lines.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Še en kultni izdelek. In tudi mene je očaral. Gre za opevano maskaro (dupe naj bi bil L'orealova Lash Paradise maskara - katere nisem preizkusila). Je zelo volumenska, kar sama najprej iščem v maskari. Ima gosto krtačko in res zgosti ter naredi trepalnice zelo temno črne. Prav tako se ne razpaca kar tako.

Another cult product which wowed me. The famous mascara (L'Oreal has a dupe - Lash Paradise mascara which I haven't tried). It's very volumizing which I love. The thick brush really gets into the lashes and coats them nicely. The lashes look so voluminous and extremely black. Also it is quite long lasting.

Guerlain Maxi Lash Mascara

Potem pa sem proti koncu leta preizkusila še eno odlično maskaro. Sicer je precej parfumirana, kar marsikomu ne bi bilo všeč. Tudi ta ima bolj gosto krtačko. Čeprav izgleda embalaža majhna, je v njej veliko maskare. Je zelo dobro volumenska in me je navdušila že od prve uporabe (običajno se morejo klasične maskare najprej malce posušiti). And then in the other half of the year I've tried Guerlain mascara and was again really impressed. This one is a bit perfumed which some might not like. I like the thick brush and nice packaging. It might look a bit small but it holds a lot of product. The volume effect is really great and it performed amazing even from the first try (usually you have to wait for mascara to dry a bit, so it starts performing great). Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight C-Pop

V letu 2019 sem našla tudi popoln odtenek Becca tekočega osvetljevalca. Pred tem sem uporabljala odtenek Opal, ki pa je bil malce temen za zimski čas. Ti osvetljevalci imajo res super teksturo. Zelo enostavno se nanašajo s prsti in sploh niso lepljivi. Se ne posušijo hitro, tako, da imaš čas, da ga zabrišeš (imam kar nekaj tekočih osvetljevalcev, ki se prehitro posušijo in jih niti ne morem dobro zabrisati).

This year I purchased another one of Becca liquid highlighters. This time in a lighter shade. Last year I used Opal, which was a bit dark for winter time. I just love the texture of these highlighters. They're so easy to apply with fingers and are not sticky at all. You also have some time to blend it in, not like some highlighters which dry quick before you can even blend them. Plus this small packaging seems to last a long time.

Catrice Luminice Highlight & Bronze Glow Palette 020 Feel Gold

Še en odličen osvetljevalec. Ta je drogerijski in ima denarnici prijazno ceno. Se pa lahko primerja z dražjimi osvetljevalci. Srednji odtenek je popoln: ne preveč zlat, v "šampanjec" barvi. Ni bleščičast, ampak daje res lep sijoč videz. Celotno oceno si lahko ogledaš tukaj.

Another great but drugstore highlighter. I say it could compare to more expensive highlighters. The middle shade is absolutely perfect (champagne shade) and looks so glowy on the skin without looking shimmery. Read more here.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb - Diamond Milk

Lani sem imela enakega favorita v odtenku Fenty Glow, letos pa sem v Italiji kupila še svetlejši odtenek: Diamond Milk. Glos ima fajno gosto teksturo in se na ustnicah obdrži kar nekaj časa. Včasih ga uporabim kar namesto balzama za ustnice, ker je malce hranljiv. Ima njami sladek vonj.

Še en izdelek, kateri je bil moj najljubši že lani (v odtenku Fenty Glow). Letos pa sem izbrala svetlejši odtenek: Diamond Milk. The gloss has a thicker texture, so it sticks to the lips for a longer time. It's not sticky at all and feels a bit hydrating so sometimes I use it instead of lip balm. Also I love the sweet yummy scent. Plus the packaging is absolutely gorgeous.

Skindinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray - Oil Control

In še nazadnje sprej za utrjevanje ličil. Spet še en precej poznan izdelek v lepotni skupnosti. Gre nekako za cenejšo verzijo Urban Decay All Nighter spreja. Lepo utrdi ličila in manjša videz pudraste kože. Hkrati pa se ne čuti na koži in se hitro posuši. Tudi sprej je zelo fin in ne "zmoči" obraza.

Last but not least we have a setting spray. This one is actually a dupe for All Nighter, but I'm sure you knew that already. So again I got to try and see how it compares. I'd say it is great and it definitely replaces that spray. It fixes makeup very well and eliminates the powdery look. Plus it is lightweight and quickly dries. The nozzle is great and the mist is very fine, so it doesn't give you a wet look.

As you can see again I shopped at Sephora for some travel/mini products. I love trying many products but it can get expensive, especially for those "luxury" brands. So these minis are always fun to try. Plus you get enough product to really try out the product and see if you like it or not. I'm glad I tried these because not all are that good - they're a bit overrated. I've been using products for three weeks on and off, so these are my first thoughts. So keep on reading...

Živjo punce.

Tokrat sem spet nakupovala v Sephori. Ponovno sem kupila nekaj mini (potovalnih) različic makeupa, ker se mi to zdi super način, da preizkusim nekaj izdelkov in vidim, če so mi všeč, preden kupim normalna pakiranja. Čeprav gre za mini izdelke, so lahko tudi precej dražji, ker gre za bolj "luksuzne" znamke. Izdelke uporabljam nekje tri tedne tu in tam, tako, da so to moji prvi vtisi. Pa poglejmo kako so se obnesli...

Nars Blush/Bronzer Duo Mini  - Orgasm/ Laguna

Both of these makeup products have been a cult product for years now. So finally I decided to try them. Blush (Orgasm) is peachy/pink and even though it might look a bit too bright in the pan, on the cheeks it looks really nice. It makes your cheeks look healthy and naturally blushed with a bit of shimmer. But of course you can go overboard.

Bronzer (Laguna) is described as a sheer light brown shade with shimmer. I actually expected it to be too dark for me and really pigmented. I've tried it again and again and it is not too pigmented. I didn't have trouble blending it but it wouldn't show up so easily. It is quite a nice shade, though not cool-toned and looks quite natural on my very pale skin. I don't think you can notice any shimmer. But after trying it so many times, I think it could be more pigmented, or maybe it is just the mini version like that. I still prefer Benefit Hoola bronzer over this one because it's easier to use.

Tole je kultni Nars dvojec, o katerem se govori že več let. In končno sem ju tudi jaz preizkusila. Rdečilo (Orgasm) ima oranžkasto/pink odtenek in čeprav na prvi pogled izgleda zelo živo, da licem lep sijoč, a "zardel" videz. Izgleda tako zdravo in ne preveč bleščeče. Lahko pa ga slojiš.
Bronzer (Laguna) je opisan kot lahkoten svetlo rjav odtenek z bleščicami. Mislila sem, da bo bronzer pretemen in zelo pigmentiran. Po nekaj uporabah sem ugotovila, da je res tako lahkoten in bolj prosojen ter ga moreš precej slojiti, če želiš, da se res opazi. Odtenek je kar lep, vendar je precej "topel", zato daje videz zagorele kože ter ni najbolj primeren za konturiranje. Na moji koži zgleda kar lepo in bleščic se ne opazi. Sama mislim, da bi lahko bil bolj pigmentiran - mogoče pa je takšna samo mini verzija. Še vedno mi je bolj všeč Hoola bronzer od Benefita, ker se lažje nanaša in ga ni potrebno toliko slojiti.

Under(cover) Perfecting Coconut Face Primer

Primer has a milky color and watery texture so it absorbs quickly. It's not too runny but it has just the perfect texture. You cannot feel it on the skin. Plus it doesn't have a particular scent. I wish this primer smelled a bit of coconuts. I don't notice any difference. Plus I can apply my foundation the same way. But it might hydrate my skin just a bit.

Primer oz. podlaga za ličila ima nežno belo barvo ter vodeno teksturo, tako, da se hitro vpije. Ni pa preveč tekoč. Hkrati je lahkoten na koži ter ga ni čutiti. Nima posebnega vonja, čeprav si želim, da bi bil rahlo odišavljen po kokosu. Sicer pa na koži ne opazim razlike, če ga uporabljam ali ne. Aplikacija pudra je enaka, brez težav. Edino daje mi malce vlažilen občutek. 

Marc Jacobs Beauty Dew Drops Coconut Gel Highlighter

This highlighter is really nice. The shade is nice golden/champagne and it just blends into your skintone. A little really goes a long way. Sadly it's difficult to use the pump because sometimes it gives you such a big amount of product which is hard to use up in one go. Anyways, you just put it on with your fingers and blend in well. It dries quickly so you have to really blend with your fingers quickly. At the end it looks quite natural, not too "blinding". It's not sticky and is long lasting. In comparison to Becca Liquid Highlighters, this one is harder to blend because it's thicker and gel-like, which is disappointing.

Osvetljevalec je kar lep. Odtenek je zlato bež in se ujema z mojo svetlo poltjo. Je zelo pigmentiran, tako, da je za lep učinek potrebna majhna količina. Žal pa je pumpica malce nadležna, ker včasih iztisne preveč izdelka, ki ga je težko porabiti takoj. Najraje ga zabrišem s prsti. Sicer se zelo hitro suši na koži in ga moreš res hitro zabrisati. Ampak daje lep videz. Ni preveč lepljiv ter je dolgoobstojen. Sicer pa se v primerjavi z Becca tekočimi osvetljevalci težje zabriše, ker je tekstura bolj gosta in gelasta. Becca osvetljevalci so bolj tekoči in lahkotnejši.   

Marc Jacobs Beauty Finish-Line Perfecting Coconut Setting Powder

Setting powder is sheer yellow shade but on the skin it looks just natural. It smells a bit like coconuts which I like. The texture is really soft and it gives you a bit of a blurring effect. It doesn't make me look powdery which is nice, however I don't think it combats the oils though. All in all, I'm not sure I would spend so much money on a powder.

Puder v prahu ima nežen rumen odtenek, ki na koži izgleda naravno. Ima rahel vonj po kokosu, kar mi je res všeč. Tekstura je zelo mehka in daje malce "zamegljen" učinek. Na koži ne izgleda "pudrasto", saj je res fino mlet. Pa vendar ni najbolj matirajoč. Je prijeten za uporabo, vendar sama ne bi zapravila toliko za puder v prahu.

Guerlain Maxi Lash Mascara

I've purchased this mascara quite a while ago. Though I own too many, so I only started using it not long ago. It impressed me at the first try. You know how usually mascaras are too wet at first and it takes a while to dry down and only then formula becomes really nice to use. Well this one was perfect right away. The wand isn't that special and is not too big. But the formula is so nicely volumizing and separates lashes. Just what I want in a mascara and I love it. Plus it is really long lasting. A lot of mascaras smudge on me after a few hours because my eyelids are more oily. But this one I can wear all day long and even have a nap and I would see only a small trace of mascara under my eyes. It's really smudge proof, but still easy to remove with micellar water which is great. And lastly, the packaging is of course gorgeous. It's hella expensive but at the top of my mascara list along with Lancôme Hypnôse range. 

Tole maskaro sem kupila že nekaj časa nazaj, vendar še ni prišla na vrsto. Končno sem jo preizkusila in že takoj me je osupnila. Običajno so maskare na začetku precej mokre in je potrebno počakati, da se formula posuši in se šele potem obnesejo odlično. Pa vendar se je ta od prvega nanosa odrezala odlično, kar mi je super, ker sem jo potem začela z veseljem vsak dan uporabljati. Maskara je res super, ker mi da mojim trepalnicam veliko volumna in jih lepo loči. Tako da videz gostih, številnih trepalnic. Hkrati pa je zelo dobro obstojna. Običajne maskare se lahko po nekaj urah zabrišejo pod oči, saj je moja koža bolj mastna. Ta pa je zelo odporna in tudi po 12ih urah se ne razpacka. Tudi če si vmes privoščim popoldanski spanec, kjer pa seveda sploh ne pazim na ličila, opazim čisto malo maskare na spodnji veki, pa še to ni vidno, če se ne pogledam zelo od blizu v ogledalo. Hkrati pa se zelo enostavno odstrani z micelarno vodo. Čeprav je precej draga, je na moji listi top maskar, poleg Lancôme Hypnôse linije.

Recently I shopped a bit and got a few makeup items which were quite exciting to me. I love trying new makeup, especially luxurious items. So let's see what I got and how I feel about these makeup products...

Živjo punce.

Pred kratkim sem nakupila nekaj ličil, katerih sem se zelo razveselila. Najbolj rada testiram nov makeup, še posebej če gre za malce bolj "razkošne" produkte. Kakšno je moje mnenje o sledečih izdelkih pa preberite v nadaljevanju...

Decided to treat myself and splurge on a foundation. I was contemplating between Estee Lauder Double Wear and this one (both for oily skin) but since Double Wear seems to be very comparable to Revlon Colorstay (which I wear all the time) and doesn't have a pump, I opted for YSL one. Plus I haven't yet tried any of their face products. I got the shade B10 which is a Porcelain, neutral shade. I am very happy that they have nice pale shades, even though I am still a bit too pale for this shade (i am literally like a ghost) but I think it fits me nicely. After trying it with different application techniques, I found out that it applies the best with a wet makeup sponge. I use one pump for the whole face. The texture is not thick, but not too liquidy and I like it. It spreads easily and it is very comfortable and light weight on the skin. It does have a significant "luxurious" floral scent though. The coverage is buildable to medium but definitely not full coverage. On me it looks very natural and pretty at first. However I found out that it doesn't last that long on me: after 5 hours, it starts to dissolve on my chin and nose, where I get quite oily. I like it but I just wish it would last longer, since it's so expensive.

Odločila sem se, da nekaj več denarja investiram v tekoči puder. Odločala sem se med Estee Lauder Double Wear in tem (oba sta za bolj masten tip kože). Pa vendar, ker je Double Wear podoben Revlon Colorstayu (katerega nosim vsak dan) ter nima pumpice, sem izbrala tega od YSL. Izbrala sem odtenek B10, ki je porcelanast ter ima nevtralen podton. Zelo mi je všeč, da imajo dobro izbiro odtenkov, čeprav je tale mogoče mičkeno temnejši od moje kože (res sem bela kot duh). Ampak vseeno mi kar ustreza. Po večih preizkušanjih sem ugotovila, da se najlepše nanaša z mokro makeup gobico. Za celoten obraz uporabim samo eno pumpico. Tekstura ni gosta in tudi ne preveč tekoča. Enostavno se razporedi po koži ter je zelo prijetna na koži saj podlaga ni težka ter je čez dan ne čutiš. Ima pa tak klasičen cvetličen vonj, ki ga radi dajo v ličila. Prekrivnost je dobra: podlaga se lahko sloji do srednje prekrivnosti, vendar ni popolno prekrivna. Na meni izgleda zelo lepo naravno. Vendar pa sem ugotovila, da po petih urah začne bledeti na nosu ter bradi, kjer imam najbolj mastno kožo. Res mi je všeč lep izgled, ki ga nudi ampak mi je zelo žal, da ta tekoči puder na meni ni dolgo obstojen.

I got this lipstick from Spleticna.si and after a few tries it impressed me. It has a light weight texture which applies and looks like velvet. It's not completely matte but it's not shiny either. Pigmentation is amazing and you only need a swipe or two for a perfect, even application. It is quite a fancy lipstick, though you could find a similar one at MAC or such. But the packaging is absolutely gorgeous and is quite a treat.

Tole šminko so mi poslali od Spleticna.si in me je kar hitro navdušila. Ima lahkotno teksturo, ki se enostavno nanese na ustnice ter ima tak lep žameten efekt. Ni popolnoma mat, hkrati pa sploh ni sijoča. Je zelo dobro pigmentirana, saj že z enim ali dvema nanosoma popolnoma prekrije ustnice. Je kar "fensi" šminka in je bolj kot razvajanje saj bi takšno teksturo ali kvaliteto našli tudi pri MAC šminkah. Hkrati pa je sicer embalaža popolnoma luksuzna in super za razvajanje.

I bought a German magazine just because it had this sample in it. I haven't tried any Chanel mascaras but the Le Volume one is quite talked about. So this is their new version of a mascara. A brush is quite an interesting one: small spikes all over it, randomly distributed on the brush. I haven't seen a brush like that yet (apparently it's 3D printed). It adds a lot of volume and also quite some length. But because my eyelids tend to be on the oily side, after a few hours, it would transfer and smudge a bit.

V Avstriji sem kupila revijo v nemškem jeziku, samo zaradi tega testerja (haha). Nisem še preizkusila Chanel maskar, vendar sem o njihovi maskari Le Volume slišala same pohvale. Tole pa je nova različica te volumenske maskare. S tem, da ima zelo zanimivo krtačko z majhnimi konicami, ki so neenakomerno razporejene. Krtačka je precej inovativna, ker je nisem opazila še nikjer (hkrati naj bi bila 3D natisnjena). Trepalnicam podari veliko volumna in tudi nekaj dolžine. Tako, da mi je končen učinek res všeč. Sicer pa na mojih bolj mastnih vekah ni tako obstojna, ker se po nekaj urah malce razmaže na veke.

Since I've been obsessed with Becca Opal liquid highlighter, I wanted to have one in a cooler shade. So after searching on LookFantastic, I stumbled upon this one. It looked nice and it's a mini version, just so I can try it out. I like the texture which is not too watery and you can blend it easily with your fingers. The shade is cool toned but not too pinky which I think suits me nicely. I wish it would be a bit more shiny but I can top it off with a powder highlight. 

Zadnjih nekaj mesecev sem bila obsedena z Becca Opal tekočih osvetljevalcem. Ker pa je ta v bolj toplem tonu, sem želela eden tekoči osvetljevalec s hladnim podtonom. Na LookFantastic sem tako našla High Beam osvetljevalec, ki je prav tako v tekoči različici in dodaten plus mu doda tole manjše pakiranje, da ga lahko najprej preizkusim. Sem kar zadovoljna, da sem si ga naročila, saj je ravno pravšnje tekstura in se zelo lepo zabriše. Hkrati ni preveč bleščičast, ampak doda lep sijaj, ki ustreza moji polti kože. Sicer ni najbolj svetleč, ampak ga lahko slojim z osvetljevalcem v prahu.
