Batiste Original dry shampoo

Batiste is my favorite dry shampoo of all times. Though I'm a bit picky with the scents and you cannot get a tropical scent in our country anymore. So I usually buy the Original version these days. This dry shampoo is just hard core and it works amazing even if your hair is really greasy. It can be a bit white sometimes, but I just use hair dryer to get it off.

Batiste Fresh dry shampoo
Last year I discovered this new scent and absolutely loved it because it it's refreshing and lighter. Though I think also the powder is lighter so when my hair is quite oily it doesn't help that much.

Vitanove Dry Shampoo
This dry shampoo you can buy at E.Leclerc. I just bought it because I was interested. Though it was very powdery and white which is not great if you're in a hurry or your hair is darker. But if I have really greasy hair and just need to go somewhere quickly, I would use it and use my hair dryer on higher speed to get it off. It was cheap too, so I didn't care how it worked. But for everyday I wouldn't use it.

Nivea LE Fabulous Hibiscus Shower Gel
Unfortunately this shower gel scent was limited edition. It was really nice and fruity. However sometimes I think it would smell a bit too alcohol-like even though it doesn't contain alcohol. But I still loved using it because it was so refreshing and awakening.
Repurchase: would if I could

Lush Twilight Shower Gel
One of my favorite Lush scents. Though I get bored of Lush scents quite quickly, so it takes me such a long time to use up a bottle. This is a very specific lavender scent, but it also smells a bit like oatmeal cookies. The shower gel felt gentle on the skin. I just loved it for the calming but sweet scent. Though next time I would prefer a mini version.

Afrodita Cosmetics Extra Sensitive Intimate Wash
A very nice and gentle feminine wash. I have one that is my top favorite, but this one is the second afterwards. And when I use something else, I miss this one. The scent is very light which is great and it seems very gentle on my lady bits.

Rexona Active Protection+ Invisible Anti-Perspirant - Fresh

I like Rexona deodorants, but after trying the Active Protection+ one, it is now my winner. I always choose the ones for black and white clothing. This one lasts even longer and acts even more when you get active. I mostly also love this one for the scent because it's kind of a powdery one and out of all other Rexona deodorants, this one doesn't make me choke on it.

Rexona Invisible Aqua Anti-Perspirant

This one is always nice. It does the job and keep you "stinky-free" for a long time. Also it doesn't leave yellow marks. It's still a bit white though and sometimes I choke on how powerful the scent and mist is.

Swiss O'Par Silver Shampoo
Immediately after I bleached (lightened) my hair, I purchased this shampoo. It's meant for blond or grey hair, to even out the tone and eliminated brassy look. It is quite watery, I would say, so it flows quickly down the hair. It helps a bit with toning the hair, however it's not that visible. I use it in between washes when I don't want to use Icecream No-Yellow shampoo (that one is the best for yellow tones).

L'Oreal Elseve Extraordinary Clay Purifying Shampoo
One of the best drugstore shampoo for oily hair. It is very cleansing (contains clay) but doesn't dry out or strip the hair. I also really like the fresh scent. Though nowadays I use only solid shampoos but if I was in a quick need of shampoo, I would still buy it.

The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Gel Wash
A very nice gentle face wash. Doesn't have much of a scent, but is still pleasant. It's not amazing, however it was really gentle and relaxing to use Read full review here.

Soap & Glory Flake Away Body Scrub
I love the scent of Soap & Glory products. Their original scent is just something special. This scrub felt moisturising and not drying. It wasn't too harsh, but still did it's job.

Caudalie Vinopure Skin Perfecting Mattifying Fluid
One of the lightest mattifying creams I've tried. I liked the light texture, however I felt that it sometimes took longer to absorb into the skin. I loved it at times when my skin wasn't as oily, but it still needed mattifying effect. Still I think I prefer the Vinosource Moisturizing Mattifying Fluid.

Kamill Hand & Nail Cream Q10
A really nice moisturizing hand cream. It can be a bit thick, but it's not overly greasy. Plus the scent is nicely calming.

Nuxe Rêve de miel Hand and Nail Cream
This line from Nuxe is quite popular and this is not my first time trying the hand cream. I'm not a fan of this scent because it's quite potent. The hand cream is moisturizing but doesn't do wonders. It takes some time to absorb in, so I used it before bed time.

The Body Shop Glazed Apple Sugar Scrub
Another limited edition product. I loved this Christmas scent (from 2 or 3 years ago?) but I finally used it up. Actually I used it for my hands, because the purple shampoo really leaves a stain on hands. The scent is just amazing, it's like some apple candy and not too artificial.

Lush Charity Pot Hand & Body Lotion
This is a sample I got in London. It's main ingredient is fair trade cocoa and shea butter and the profit goes to charity. Plus it contains other hydrating oils. The texture is not too thick, however it takes some time to absorb. Though it is very moisturising. All Lush body lotions are very hydrating which I love. Though I'd use them only before slipping on pyjamas and going to bed. But this small pot I only used on some dry patches and it helped.

Lush Santa Baby Lip Scrub
My favorite festive Lush lip scrub. It smells and tasted like coca cola. It's not too sweet, but still pleasant. Texture is not too gritty as the sugar glides on smoothly without too much crumbling. Plus the aftertaste is nice. The whole pot lasts me a year. I used to use these lip scrubs all the time, but now I sometimes only use a hot wet cotton pad which works wonders too.

Blistex Conditioning Lip Balm
Just a standard lip balm. I switch between this one and Labello Classic lip balm and I like both. They're hydrating enough, but I still need to reapply it multiple times because it rubs off. Let me know if you have any favorite lip balm recommendation though.

Carmex Classic Lip Balm
I heard so much about this lip balm but it actually disappointed me. It contains menthol and is quite strong. If I reapplied it even three times through my work time, my lips would start to feel very warm and tingly and the feeling wouldn't go away right away. So then I used it only when applying my makeup. It is very hydrating which I love, but I just can't have it for every day use.

The Body Shop Pink Grapefruit + Moringa Bath Bubble
I love bubble baths. These small heart bubble bars were fun. Maybe not as much as Lush ones, but still cute and nice smelling. Though here is the additional packaging which you don't get with Lush bubble bars.

The Body Shop Vitamin E + Aloe Sheet Mask
These are made of natural fibers and are biodegradable which is awesome. I think both were quite hydrating and made my skin feel very soft. At first they're very cold because of the sheet. But it totally works and is great for here and there if your skin is feeling dry.

Kiko Softening Hands Mask
I had this mask for such a long time and finally I tried it. I don't know what happened in Amsterdam; if it was the wind or their water but my hands got so dry and flakey and I would apply hand cream and balm on it multiple times per day. So then at home I tried this hands mask. It's actually like hand gloves filled with hand cream. You wear them for 10-15 minutes and meanwhile massage the cream into the hands. It feels a bit strange and cold. But when you take them off, the cream absorbs in and you're left with very smooth soft hands. There was still so much product left in the gloves, so I used it the next day again. I cannot say that it worked like a miracle, however after two uses I did see a difference and my hands aren't as flakey now.

Catrice Poreless Perfection Foundation 010 Cool Nude 

Ta puder ima klasično penasto, gosto teksturo. Pa vendar ne vsebuje silikonov, ki bi morda komu mašili pore. Daje videz gladke kože ter malce zapolni pore. Hkrati pa ni tako težek na koži. Odtenek 010 izgleda zelo temno, čeprav se na koži hitro zabriše in ni tako temen. Še vedno je odtenek zame pretemen, imajo pa na voljo tudi svetlejšega: 005 Warm Ivory. Prekrivnost je srednja in je vredu za vsak dan. Obstojnost pa ni najboljša saj puder čez dan zbledi in počasi izgine.

This is a classic mousse type of foundation. It has a thick texture, but is silicon free which is great if your skin gets clogged if you use silicon type of products. Even though it's thick, it quickly blends and doesn't feel heavy on the skin. It makes the skin look more smooth and fills the pores a bit. It is not long lasting though, so I wouldn't use it on hot and long days. Coverage is ok, but could be better if you have more pigmentation or imperfections. The shade 010 looks very dark, however somehow it blends in and looks lighter on the skin. Though it's still too dark for me. There is also a lighter shade available: 005 Warm Ivory.

Catrice Instant Awake Concealer 005 Neutral Light 

Korektor je zelo lahek in srednje prekriven. Verjetno najbolj temnih podočnjakov ne bo prekril. Zame pa je dovolj prekriven in se mi ne useda v gubice potem, ko ga fiksiram s pudrom v kamnu. Odtenek je dovolj svetel in ima rumenkast podton, kar mi je všeč. Obstaja še svetlejši odtenek: 002 Neutral Fair. Izbor odtenkov se mi zdi precej dober in se sprašujem zakaj tudi tekočih pudrov nimajo v tako svetlih odtenkov. Embalaža pa ima na vrhu gobico, ki morda ni najbolj higienska, vendar se meni zdi čist vredu, saj uporabljam korektor samo pod očmi. 

Concealer has a fresh, light weight texture and medium coverage. It probably won't cover up very dark circles, but for me it is enough. It doesn't settle into the fine lines if I set it with powder. Shade 005 is a light shade with yellow undertone which works perfect for me. There's also a lighter shade available: 002 Neutral Fair. I think the range of shades is great and I wonder why they don't make such light shades for their foundations (most of them are too dark for me). It's one of those concealers which have a sponge at the top which might not be hygienic, however I only use it under the eyes. But it is somehow handy to apply it directly onto the face. Plus it has a twist up system.

Catrice Hemp & Mint Glow Lip Balm 010 High On Life

Balzam za ustnice vsebuje konopljo ter mentol. Olje konoplje naj bi imelo hranilen učinek, mentol pa ustnice hladi in jim daje malce večji videz (ni močen učinek ter ne peče). Balzam pusti roza odtenek, glede na pH ustnic. Na meni je odtenek precej živo roza. Sicer je balzam lahek in nemasten, vendar se mi zdi, da bi lahko bil bolj hranljiv. Zato ga nimam za vsakdanjo uporabo ali za v torbico. 

This lip balm is based on hemp and menthol. Hemp oil is supposed to be nourishing, while menthol gives you a cooling effect and a plumper look (it is gentle - it doesn't sting or burn). Plus it is one of those color changing balms, so the pink shade varies based on the pH of your lips. My shade is pretty bright pink which I don't mind at all, but I wouldn't use it for every day. As it goes for hydrating, I don't think it is very moisturising. It is light weight, non-greasy but ok for here and there.

Here's another post to officially end year 2019. This time I'll talk about my favorite skincare, bodycare and such of the year 2019. I have to say that sometimes I like to stay faithful to some products, so I have been still loving the ones from 2018 or even later. That's why this post will be shorter. The Body Shop Seaweed Deep Cleansing Gel wash
Zelo rada preizkušam izdelke za čiščenje obraza in tega sem z veseljem porabila. Čeprav je namenjen mešani do mastni kožo, se mi ne zdi, da bi izsušil kožo. Se ne speni preveč (ne vsebuje mila), temveč je bolj kremast. Dobro odstrani ostanke ličil.  Najbolj mi je bil všeč, ker je res lepo nežen in nima specifičnega vonja. Objavo najdeš tukaj.

Also I love trying out new face washes and this one I used up already. It was mainly made for combination to oily skin, however I don't find it drying. It doesn't contain soap (it contains SLS though), so it doesn't foam up much, but it also nicely creamy. It efficiently cleans the skin and removes the remaining makeup. Mostly I love how gentle it is and doesn't have any strong scent. Read more here.

La Roche Posay Effaclar Matt

Ta izdelek je del moje rutine že celo leto. Porabila sem eno embalažo in vmes uporabljala nekaj drugega, vendar se z veseljem vrnem nazaj k tej negi obraza. LRP je moja najljubša znamka za nego obraza. Ta kremica pa je super za matiranje obraza in se lepo obnese koz baza za pod ličila. Silikonska tekstura pusti mehak občutek ter malce "zblura" polt. Sicer ga trenutno ne uporabljam tako pogosto, ker imam ta čas precej suho povrhnjico. Celotno objavo si lahko preberete tukaj.

This has been my favorite face cream of all year. I used up one of those and tried something else, but I came back to this one. La Roche Posay is my favorite skincare brand I love their products. Currently my skin is a bit dry, so I don't use it but I loved it for the most of the year. It is a silicon type of cream which is perfect under makeup. It evens out the skin, mattifies and is a bit blurring. It makes your skin very soft and I love that it instantly absorbs in. You can find the whole post here.

Caudalie Milky Sun Spray SPF50

Ta izdelek sem pozabila omeniti na blogu, sem ga pa omenjala na Instagramu. Zasluži si seveda več kot objavo. Gre za zaščito pred soncem. In ta kremni losjon je bil fantastičen. Je bolj tekoč, vendar se zato lepše vpije v kožo. Za seboj ne pusti pretirano mastne kože. Hkrati pa tudi lepo nežno diši. Je dobro vodoodporen in SPF50 odlično zaščiti kožo. Sama sem ga nanesla 2-3x na dan in porabila v kar 5 dneh. In me sonce popolnoma nič ni opeklo. No, z morja sem prišla bolj bela. Pa vendar, mene to ne moti, ker vem, da je takšna koža zdrava. Skratka ta losjon me je odlično zaščitil. Plus tega pa ne vsebuje nekaj sestavin, ki so škodljive za morje in koralne grebene.

I can't believe I didn't mention this product on the blog, however I posted some on my Instagram. Though it would deserve more mentions. It is suncare for body and it was just amazing. The texture is more milky and light, however it absorbs nicely and doesn't leave you extra greasy. Also the scent is pleasant. It provides a lot of protection (spf50) and is waterproof which I look for in a suncare. I applied it 2-3 times per day, so I used it up in 5 days. But it protected me very well and I came home almost as white ha ha. I totally recommend it. Also it doesn't contain some ingredients which are harmful for the ocean and coral reefs. 

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

Letos sem spet začela pridno uporabljati ta kultni sprej. Poznam ga še več let, vendar ga včasih rada "šparam". Sem pa dobila novo flaško in starega takoj začela uporabljati skoraj vsak dan. Večinoma ga uporabljam za čez ličila, kot fiksirni sprej (čeprav to ni). Zmanjša pudrast videz in osveži obraz. Predvsem pa ima tak zeliščno svež vonj, ki mene osebno spravi v boljšo voljo. Super je tudi, da je meglica ekstra fina. Prav tako je embalaža bolj luksuzna.

This is a come back. I've known this cult product for years but then I somehow just save it. This year I was given another bottle, so I decided to use up my older one. I love using it over makeup as a fixing mist (even though it is not that), so it eliminated the powdery look but mainly really gives me a refreshing feeling. The mist is extra fine which is great. It is a treat yourself product. Also the packaging is luxurious.

At start of the year I did a diy ombre hair at home and because it was bleached, it turned a bit yellow (as expected). So I immediately purchased this product. I definitely recommend it if your hair turns yellow a lot or you're doing your hair by yourself. It is really pigmented and dark purple so you need to really exfoliate your hands afterwards. I leave it on my hair for 10 minutes and use a shower cap menawhile. Then I wash it off lightly because I like how greyish and lilac my hair looks afterwards. At first I use it 2 times per week and then just once per week or two weeks. I'm not using it at the moment because my hair grew and it is not as brassy but I'm going to color my hair again, so it will be much needed. Though if your hair is really white bleached or very blonde, I recommend you being careful for how long you leave it on, because it can really turn your hair purple.

Afrodita Cosmetics After Depilation Gel

Po nogah se rada depiliram, ker imam s tem najmanj dela. Vendar je to malce bolj boleče in tudi koža je po tem razdražena. Vem, da bi lahko uporabljala klasično aloe vero po depiliranju, vendar mi je ta Afroditin gel res prijeten.

I've been depilating my legs now for years because it's convenient and just last such a long time. Though it can hurt sometimes and my skin gets a bit irritated. I know I could use a classic aloe vera, but I just go back to this gel. And I've been using it this year again.

IT Cosmetics Your Skin But Better CC+ Oil-Free Matte with SPF 40 - Fair

Opevana CC krema je tudi mene navdušila. Okej, morem priznati, da ni najboljši "puder" kar sem jih preizkusila, vendar se mi je hitro priljubil. Veliko pudrov se na moji mastni koži ne obnese, četudi so testirani na takšni koži. Zato imam le en ozek izbor podlag. O tej CC kremi govorim kot o pudru, ker je tako prekrivna, da zame ni samo CC krema. Je lahkotna in ustvari lep naravno matirajoč videz. Po njej se sicer hitreje svetim, vendar mi to ni moteče. Najbolj mi je všeč za dneve, ko se mi ne da ličit, ampak želim, da moja koža vseeno izgleda poenoteno in kot da je lepo naličena. Res je drag izdelek, vendar imam nekaj dražjih pudrov, ki se ne obnesejo tako dobro. Celotno objavo si lahko prebereš tukaj.

It Cosmetics CC cream is talk about so much, I had to try it. It's not the best foundation I've tried, however it grew on me and I've been loving it. I rarely find foundations that really work for my oily skin, so I have a limited selection. This foundation is not really a foundation, but a CC cream with more coverage. It's lightweight and is mattifying but still looks natural on the skin. I get shiny quicker, but I like the natural effect. I love it for days when I don't want much makeup on my skin, but still want to look presentable. It is quite expensive, however I have more expensive foundations that don't look as nice. Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer & Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

Dva korektorja, ki sta me očaral to leto. Sicer sta si zelo podobna, zato se ne morem odločiti kateri mi je boljši, pa vendar si oba zaslužita mesto med favoriti. O njiju sem spisala primerjavo (več tukaj). Nars korektor je bolj prekriven in res dolgoobstojen, vendar je precej drag. Medtem, ko je Maybelline korektor tudi dovolj prekriven, daje naraven izgled ter je precej cenejši. Če bi se cenovno odločala bi zmagal Maybelline. Ko potrebujem večjo prekrivnost pa izberem Nars korektor. Vsak ima svoje prednosti, vendar sta oba dobra saj se ne vsedata v gubice.

The two concealers that wowed me this year. They might be really similar (even a dupe) but they are a bit different. You can read the whole comparison here. Nars concealer has a lot of coverage and is very long lasting but quite expensive. While Maybelline one has still a nice coverage, but is lighter and quite cheaper. If I chose based on the price, I'd choose Maybelline. However when I want a lot of coverage, I choose Nars. They're both good though and don't crease or settle into the lines.

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Še en kultni izdelek. In tudi mene je očaral. Gre za opevano maskaro (dupe naj bi bil L'orealova Lash Paradise maskara - katere nisem preizkusila). Je zelo volumenska, kar sama najprej iščem v maskari. Ima gosto krtačko in res zgosti ter naredi trepalnice zelo temno črne. Prav tako se ne razpaca kar tako.

Another cult product which wowed me. The famous mascara (L'Oreal has a dupe - Lash Paradise mascara which I haven't tried). It's very volumizing which I love. The thick brush really gets into the lashes and coats them nicely. The lashes look so voluminous and extremely black. Also it is quite long lasting.

Guerlain Maxi Lash Mascara

Potem pa sem proti koncu leta preizkusila še eno odlično maskaro. Sicer je precej parfumirana, kar marsikomu ne bi bilo všeč. Tudi ta ima bolj gosto krtačko. Čeprav izgleda embalaža majhna, je v njej veliko maskare. Je zelo dobro volumenska in me je navdušila že od prve uporabe (običajno se morejo klasične maskare najprej malce posušiti). And then in the other half of the year I've tried Guerlain mascara and was again really impressed. This one is a bit perfumed which some might not like. I like the thick brush and nice packaging. It might look a bit small but it holds a lot of product. The volume effect is really great and it performed amazing even from the first try (usually you have to wait for mascara to dry a bit, so it starts performing great). Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Spotlight C-Pop

V letu 2019 sem našla tudi popoln odtenek Becca tekočega osvetljevalca. Pred tem sem uporabljala odtenek Opal, ki pa je bil malce temen za zimski čas. Ti osvetljevalci imajo res super teksturo. Zelo enostavno se nanašajo s prsti in sploh niso lepljivi. Se ne posušijo hitro, tako, da imaš čas, da ga zabrišeš (imam kar nekaj tekočih osvetljevalcev, ki se prehitro posušijo in jih niti ne morem dobro zabrisati).

This year I purchased another one of Becca liquid highlighters. This time in a lighter shade. Last year I used Opal, which was a bit dark for winter time. I just love the texture of these highlighters. They're so easy to apply with fingers and are not sticky at all. You also have some time to blend it in, not like some highlighters which dry quick before you can even blend them. Plus this small packaging seems to last a long time.

Catrice Luminice Highlight & Bronze Glow Palette 020 Feel Gold

Še en odličen osvetljevalec. Ta je drogerijski in ima denarnici prijazno ceno. Se pa lahko primerja z dražjimi osvetljevalci. Srednji odtenek je popoln: ne preveč zlat, v "šampanjec" barvi. Ni bleščičast, ampak daje res lep sijoč videz. Celotno oceno si lahko ogledaš tukaj.

Another great but drugstore highlighter. I say it could compare to more expensive highlighters. The middle shade is absolutely perfect (champagne shade) and looks so glowy on the skin without looking shimmery. Read more here.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb - Diamond Milk

Lani sem imela enakega favorita v odtenku Fenty Glow, letos pa sem v Italiji kupila še svetlejši odtenek: Diamond Milk. Glos ima fajno gosto teksturo in se na ustnicah obdrži kar nekaj časa. Včasih ga uporabim kar namesto balzama za ustnice, ker je malce hranljiv. Ima njami sladek vonj.

Še en izdelek, kateri je bil moj najljubši že lani (v odtenku Fenty Glow). Letos pa sem izbrala svetlejši odtenek: Diamond Milk. The gloss has a thicker texture, so it sticks to the lips for a longer time. It's not sticky at all and feels a bit hydrating so sometimes I use it instead of lip balm. Also I love the sweet yummy scent. Plus the packaging is absolutely gorgeous.

Skindinavia The Makeup Finishing Spray - Oil Control

In še nazadnje sprej za utrjevanje ličil. Spet še en precej poznan izdelek v lepotni skupnosti. Gre nekako za cenejšo verzijo Urban Decay All Nighter spreja. Lepo utrdi ličila in manjša videz pudraste kože. Hkrati pa se ne čuti na koži in se hitro posuši. Tudi sprej je zelo fin in ne "zmoči" obraza.

Last but not least we have a setting spray. This one is actually a dupe for All Nighter, but I'm sure you knew that already. So again I got to try and see how it compares. I'd say it is great and it definitely replaces that spray. It fixes makeup very well and eliminates the powdery look. Plus it is lightweight and quickly dries. The nozzle is great and the mist is very fine, so it doesn't give you a wet look.

V Božičnem duhu vas danes čaka še ena objava o prazničnih izdelkih. Tokrat sem preizkušala Lush izdelke. Tudi Lush naredi praznike prav čarobne s posebnimi praznično obarvanimi izdelki. Vsako leto se jih razveselim, saj ustvarijo (izumijo) kaj novega, ki me pritegne. Večina izdelkov je letos tudi brez embalaže. So pa njihovi izdelki super za obdarovanja ali dodatek k darilu. Sem prepričana, da bi se jih vsi razveselili. Pa poglejmo kaj sem preizkušala in kako se mi zdijo izdelki...

In a Christmas spirit, today we have another christmassy post. This time I also tried some new Lush Christmas products. Christmas at Lush is actually quite magical. They have so many festive products and in stores everything feels so joyful. This year also most of the products are without packaging. I feel like you cannot go wrong with their products are Christmas presents (as long as you know what kind of scents the person likes). Either you buy a whole present or just an added bonus to your main gift, I'm sure you could find something interesting at Lush. Also some products are quite fun to use. So let's see what I tested this year...



Shower gel looks galactic with lots of shimmer and bluish green color. It's so fun to use. I love the sour scent because I'm all about fruity scents. It definitely scents the whole bathroom. However on the skin it doesn't last for a long time - that's usually the case with citrusy scents. I would love to use it in the summer.


Butter Bear Soap

Milo v obliki medvedka ima kremno sadno sladko dišavo (ylang ylang). Naj bi sicer dišalo malce bolj čokoladno. Mene spominja na vonj bele čokolade, vendar ni pretirano sladek. Vsebuje ricinusovo olje ter kakavovo maslo, ki ustvarita kremno peno. Sama zadnje čase uporabljam samo trda mila, ker so brez embalaže!, jih imam za dolgo časa, ter so super tudi za pranje čopičev. Zdi se mi tudi super darilo, ker ni le navadno milo, je ročno narejeno in ima prijetno dišavo.

This soap is supposed to smell chocolatey and after a few uses it does start to smell like white chocolate but with a bit of a fruity undertone. It's a gentle but comforting scent. I use it for washing my hands and it lathers up very well. I like Lush soaps because they don't leave your skin much with a dry feeling. A bear shaped soap is really nice to use because its size is like my hands. And then I also end up using Lush soaps for cleaning my brushes.

Yog Nog Solid Body Conditioner

Diši po keksih s cimetom saj vsebuje olje nageljnovih žbic (klinčki). Res je taki vonj za pojest in popolnoma ustreza božičnemu vzdušju. Kožo navlažijo karitejevo maslo, mandljevo olje, ilipe maslo. 

Tip izdelka mi je dobro poznan, saj sem lani preizkušala Snow Fairy vonj. Gre za balzam, ki se podrgne po mokri koži ter nato rahlo spere. Je super za nas "lenobe", ki se nam ne da vedno mazati z losjoni ter čakati, da se vpijejo. Tako ta balzam vzame samo par sekund. Sicer je za shranjevanje pod tušem malce masten (in tudi tuš postane masten), zato priporočam uporabo podstavka za milo. Ampak, ko se stuširaš in posušiš ne pusti mastnega ali lepljivega občutka. Na vrhu ima posute bleščice, katere priporočam, da kar hitro sperete, ker boste drugače bleščeči in zlati kot božičen okrasek. Hkrati je mogoče oblika balzama malce nerodna za uporabo, ampak se navadiš. Učinek morda naslednji dan ni isti kot pri navadnem losjonu, ampak je meni dovolj vlažilen.

If you like the smell of cookies and cinnamon, this one will be for you - actually a whole range. It contains clove bud oil, so it definitely smells like that and it is all christmassy. The shea butter, almond oil and ilipe butter hydrate the skin.
I was familiar with this product because last year I tried the Snow Fairy scent in the same form. It is a body conditioner which you apply onto the wet skin and then shower off a bit. It's great for anyone who's lazy with lotions (like me) because this one is quick and effortless. It can be messy to store, because the surface could get greasy, so it's best to keep it on the soap dish. It moisturises the skin but without feeling sticky or greasy when you come out of the shower and you dry yourself with a towel. The conditioner is sprinkled with shimmer, so it's best to quickly remove it if you don't wanna be gold and shiny like a Christmas ornament. And the shape might be a bit awkward to use, but you get used to it. The effect next day might not be the same as with a normal body lotion but I like it and it is hydrating enough for me.

Polar Bear Nose Shower Bomb

Tole pa je nov izdelek. Gre za bombico za tuširanje. Sicer imam sama kopalno kad, ta izdelek pa je namenjen predvsem tistim, ki je nimate in si želite enake izkušnje. To lahko storite pod tušem. Sicer se meni ne zdi enaka izkušnja, pa vendar mi je bilo tuširanje s to bombico zelo fajn. Ne stopi se takoj, tako, da sem jo sama podrgnila pod vodo, da se je začela peniti in jo nato podrgnila po telesu. Nato sem jo odložila in sem se normalno tuširala ter sem še vedno imela nekaj bombice na voljo. Na telesu je ustvarila kremno teksturo. Izgledala pa sem kot, da se tuširam z glino, ker je seveda črne barve. Z bombico sem si naredila nežen piling in normalno stuširala. Zdi se mi, da je pustila kožo lepo mehko. Ima vonj po mentolu in evkaliptusu tako, da je osvežilna. In pa z zemeljskim pridihom. Sicer se mi zdi takšno tuširanje drago (bombica stane: 4,50€) ampak je zabavno za enkratno preizkušanje.

This is a new product to me. It's a shower bomb and is great for people without bath tub. Though I own one, so I could compare the experience. And I have to say that it is not the same. But I think it's fun to have a shower with a shower bomb. It doesn't melt instantly, which is great. I put it a bit under water and then rub it onto my skin. It creates a nice thick foam and it looked like I showered with clay because it's black. The foam was really nice and softening and it made a bit of a scrub. I could use it twice, but I kept on rubbing it on. I shaved and showered like normal. It smelled like menthol and eucalyptus, so it was refreshing but with a bit of an earthy undertone. It was a fun experience, though not as relaxing as in the bath tub. And I do think this shower was a bit expensive (4,50€).

December je tukaj in čas je za božične, omejene izdaje lepotnih izdelkov. The Body Shop je eden izmed tistih znamk, katere Božič vzamejo resno in je verjetno njihov najboljši čas v letu. Letos imajo na voljo 3 posebne vonje. Sicer pogrešam vonj po jagodičevju in upam, da bo naslednjo leto spet na voljo. Pa vendar sta se mi priljubila dva nova vonja.

It's finally december and it's time to write a bit about christmassy products and Christmas beauty lines. The Body Shop loves Christmas and each year they prepare some festive goodies. This year they introduced three scents. I do miss the berry scent and hope next year it will be available again. However, I found two new favorite scents.

Salted Caramel & Vanilla Reed Diffuser

Tega izdelka sem se res razveselila, ker imam rada sveče ter dišave. Žal pa meni ne ustreza. Spomnim se, ko sem pred leti imela Rituals difuzor, ki je bil sicer z vonjem po pomaranči in je bil kar prijeten. Zato sem mislila, da mi bo ta tudi ustrezal. Gre za dišavo, ki se skozi dan sprošča skozi palčke. Super je, ker je ne rabiš ugasniti tako kot svečo. Pri difuzorjih gre za "hit or miss", saj so včasih vonji tako blagi, da ga ne zaznaš. Ta pa je v bistvu odličen. Ko sem ga odprla in dala not kar vse palčke, sem takoj zavonjala dišavo: gre za sladek vonj po karameli (spominja tudi na vanilijo) z malce cvetličnim pridihom. Sicer je lep vonj, vendar je meni presladek. To sem ugotovila po parih urah, ko mi je kar naenkrat bilo slabo. Po nekaj časa se ne zavedaš, da dišav še kar vonjaš, ampak res odišavi ves prostor. Vem, da večini ustreza in tudi druge blogerke so ga pohvalile. Res je kvaliteten in odišavi tudi velik prostor. Sama sem ga zato kar zaprla in dala palčke na balkon, ki pa so se vonjale še 1 teden potem. Zdaj bo v njem uživala moja mama, ki ni tako občutljiva.

I got really excited about this product because I like candles and scents for home. I had a diffuser before (one from Rituals) which smelled like oranges and was pleasant. However this one was not for me. The scent is dispersed through wooden sticks. It's great because you cannot set anything on fire like with candles. Diffusers are kinda gimmicky because usually a lot of them you cannot even smell. But this one is quite strong. I set it up and immediately I smelled the fragrance. It is a sweet (but salted) caramel scent which reminds me a bit of vanilla but with a floral kick to it. The scent itself is nice, but way too sweet for me. After a few hours of smelling it in the living room I got a bit sick and then I figured it was this diffuser. When you've been smelling it for a long time, you cannot tell the scent is there but it really scents the whole room. I know a lot of people will like it and it is a great quality. But I can't use it, so I closed it and put the sticks onto the balcony, which smelled the same even for a week. So I passed it onto my mom.

Warm Vanilla Shower Gel

Verjetno se bo večina razveselila tega vonja po vanilji. Božiča brez sladkih dišav ni. In tudi vse blogerke so bile očarane nad tem vonjem. Samo jaz ne. Jaz sem popolno nasprotje in sem se razveselila vseh ostalih sadnih vonjev. Sicer pa tudi uživam v tem vonju. Gre za prijeten vonj po vaniliji, ki je malce cvetličen. Gel je gostejši in se počasi porablja. Lepo se speni in je prijeten. Sicer pa ni tako poseben. Sama kupujem TBS tuš gele samo zaradi vonjev.

Most of you will probably get excited about vanilla scent. Yes, there's no Christmas without sweet scents. It's just me that isn't that convinced by this scent. I mainly love fruity scents. But I still enjoy this scent. It's a very sweet vanilla scent with a bit of floral kick to it. The shower gel is thicker and you don't need much. It foams up nicely and it really lingers on your skin for a few hours. Though it's not that special. I mainly buy TBS shower gels because they smell so nice.

Juicy Pear Body Yogurt

Jogurti za telo so precej zanimivi saj imajo ekstra lahko teksturo ter se hitro vpijejo. Super so za nanos ravno preden se oblečeš, ker se hitro vpije in ne pusti mastnega občutka. Sicer bi takšen izdelek izbrala bolj za poletje. Pa vendar, imajo na voljo tudi maslo. Glavno kar je pri tem jogurtu je vonj. Sočna hruška je ekstra zanimiv vonj. Lepo saden, sočen vonj ampak ne pretirano kisel. Res diši po hruškah. Morda si omislim še kakšen izdelek.

TBS body yogurt is and interesting product. It has a light, jelly texture and on the skin it immediately absorbs. It's great when you're in a hurry because it doesn't leave a greasy or sticky feeling. A texture like this I would choose more for warmer months. Though they have a butter texture too. But what I like the most is this new pear scent. It's very interesting. Very fruity and juicy but not that sour. You can definitely smell the fresh pear. I might have to buy another product in this scent.

Rich Plum Hand Cream

In še zadnji božični vonj je: razkošna sliva. Gre za sadno cvetličen vonj. Krema za roke ima lažjo teksturo, tako da se hitro vpije v roke. Navlaži roke, vendar ni ekstra vlažilna. Zato za ekstremno suhe roke priporočam kakšno drugo kremo. Super pa je za v torbico saj je embalaža majhna.

And the last scent is: plum. This one is again nicely fruity but with a floral kick. The texture is light and it absorbs into the skin quickly. It hydrates the hands, however it's not extra moisturising. So if you have very dry hands, I recommend you trying something else. Though I really like it for my purse because it's so small.
